I'll tell you the tanks I do very well in and I enjoy the most and you say to me if this tank is for me or not... just your opinions...

I do very well in my BatChat 25 T, in my 13 90, and in ne french heavy autoloader. So I prefer fast tanks and I  have a lot of autoloaders because I know teams dont (know how to) cooperate so when I get into a risky situation I want to get fast out of it...

How is credit making with this tank?

How mobile is it? I mean soft stats... what's your impression.?

Fast, mobile, prints credits, never needed to fire gold, a lot of fun.

So i'm going to wait, but I have every intention of buying it.

It's like the classical Lorraine but a tier lower. Prints credits, good pen, good mobility and actually quite OK camo as well. 8 degrees of depression as well so nothing really to complain about.

Like with any autoloader, aim your shots, don't try snapshotting and stay safe as you are paper. If you live by those rules the Lorraine40t is among the best Tier 8 premium tanks you can have.

It requires skill though.

Credit making seems perfectly fine if you don't use food on it, great base pen for the tier and the gun handling is only a bit worse than the Batchat (bloom on turn and movement), it is a much bigger target though.

As for mobility, it goes fast in a straight line but it feels like it turns like a boat (30-33 effective turning on medium-hard terrain).

Does this jsut have a fully trained crew rather than one with a perk\skill ready to choose?

its just a regular 100% crew without any free skills, but that doesnt really matter as if u consider buying lorraine u should already have high tier french autolodaer ;)

I've bought one.  It's probably the only premium tank I was bothered about tbh that I haven't got already.

Like it a lot but echo the points above.  Very similar to playing the 50-100 but with less armour obviously.

Bought it... 80% six'th sense right now... so my average dmg has been 1600.  but the gun is a little disappointing...  I do snapshot a lot and some shells seem to stop flying before they reach the target. lol

I don't think it's that similar, as it is more mobile and the armor on 50 100 is not something to rely on anyway. The reload on 50 100 is a pain in the *ss but Lorraine is much better on that part and has the same gun, though with a 4-shell clip. Because of this you won't need to expose yourself as long as the 50 100, which can help you survive longer.

What is the crew configuration - does it have a radio operator or a loader as 4th crew member?

I'm guessing that its not possible to share a full crew with a Ravioli, which uses a loader?

Probably one of the best tier 8 premiums,

if you can get past the nonexistent armor, it's pretty good.

Still tier 8 MM is harsh,

but good gun, good mobility and as an autoloader it gives a fear factor, at least against same tier opponents.

I agree. This gameplay section is obvious for crap posting. How we dare to actually talk about tanks and the game.

3 man crew, like the batchat.

Implying this forum section isn't filled with dumb trolls in every single thread. Might as well rename it form "Gameplay" to "/b/ - Random". Besides, there is a dedicated French Medium tank section, under "In-game vehicles".

Don't. It is simply overpriced and I think it's credit earning potential is not as good as people say. I watched a QB's video and he got only 110k total credit (without costs) with 4k damage. And in this replay he had 17-18 successful shots which means -18k credit+repair costs if you got some enemy shoots. I am not even talking about miss shots. With the same damage, you can earn much more with Löwe at the same tier battle. So don't get excited cauze it is an autoloader. If you are an expert, it may suit you but if you are not, a premium heavy tank may grant you much more credits cauze you will always end up around 1k-2k damage... On the other hand, you can't train crew for all your french medium tanks as this tank misses loader crew. On black friday I got M4A1 Rev with the half price. Much better, still decent tank and suitable for all french mediums' crew training.

Supporting WG when the game is in the current state?

Not worth.
