I've noticed some tanks at medium range have better aim when I rock back and forth (in and out of cover) and just snap shoot at enemy rather than if I fully aim. The best ones for that I have recently played are Bulldog and T-34-85M. Fully aimed shots tend to be less precise than when snap-shooting. To me that seems illogical. Do you guys think it's an oversight from WG to make them that way or am I just imagining it?

I think it's confirmation bias. You don't expect snapshot to hit, so you remember them more, and expect fully aimed shot to hit, so you remember the miss more...

I noticed there were battles where all my shells hit, preferably an exposed weakpoint and I don't even need to aim that well - firing in the general direction of the target is often enough in such battles.

And then there are battles where no matter what I do or how I aim, I always seem to either miss or the shell decides to hit some point where it does no damage.

I guess your observation was made during a battle of the first category, AKA "+25% bonus RNG"

And then theres my Leo PTA. It doesn't hit crap. I can be fully aimed in on a target at 400m, shoot and miss (0.29 disp), but some pesky T-44, T-54 or whatever while on the move will just pop its turret above some ridge all while I am moving back into cover and he will hit and pen me without even taking the time to aim...

I should not have said fully aimed. When I fire on the move it seems to fly true most of the time. But if I stop and fire half way aimed it hardly ever hits the target.

Don't know... I sometime get the perfect shot that ammorack enemy at 300m while at full speed, but most of my shot during the motion are porely accurate, even with T-34-85M...

Snapshot is one of the most stupid features in WoT in my opinion. Also I get the impression crew skills (BIA helps alot) influence snapshot ability way too much.

With all the female and berlin crews, endless 2x crew xp and boosters, the average crews for veteran players are just too skilled. This makes the game very hard for new players.

Nothing more frustrating than pre-aiming for an enemy, and when he pops out, you receive a snapshot hit while your fully aimed shot drops to the ground in front of him.

Maybe also depends on how you aim. I mean if you used that better zoom mod you can aim at a weakspot but that does not make the gun better?

My personal version is aiming at a tank quite far out and trying to hit some weaker area they expose. Shot 1 misses or bounces , no 2 same and then i autoaim the 3rd shot and that one does go through.
