I am wondering about those daily missions we get through the advent calendar ingame (store / calendar).

i am happy for the extra 30k credits everyday of course but I wonder if there is anything else behind. It looks like we are cycling through those missions (3k damage, 3k spotting, 3k bounce, ...) and the name of the missions are repeating ("New Year Fuss ##" or something)

After each completion, the "available mission" counter increments but I did not find any info about the end play.

Does anyone have any clue ?

Probably nothing, just unclear and confusing interface.

'Happy' with the 30k credits? The WOT Economy means many/most players will be spending more than 30k to get 30k.

It is still 30k extra.

Rubbish.  None of the missions involved doing anything more than playing normally.  If it cost you credits then that's entirely your fault.

Unless you play tier X's do to your missions. Most will still make a little extra.

From what I've gathered via the holiday ops that starts on the 15th. The more missions you do, the more decoration boxes you get for that even. And decoration boxes contain decorations that increases your holiday spirit level. And like last year, more levels means bigger rewards, inc female crews. So this will give you a head start from what I got from the news regarding it. Just look for Holiday ops in the portal.

How? These 'missions' don;t involve anything that you wouldn't do anyway. Just play the game and the missions complete themselves

I've been trying to completely ignore them but it's difficult when 'random' games are all heavy tanks on 'bounce' days and all lights on 'spotting' days.  It's really annoying.

Can't say I've seen it. 3K bounce is not exactly much. I did that in the SU-101 by playing it normally. And even HT's can get 3K spotting in a few games. So no need to focus on it as they are rather small. Nor is it all in one game.

Those daily missions are really nothing to write home about, it terms of requirements... I don' see how you can identify a heavy playing for those bounce missions from one playing just for the pure pleasure of bouncing... How dare they play on their strenght ! Same for those pesky scouts, running all over the place...:harp:

3k bounce: one game in IS-7 and next battle in Patriot. 4k+ together. Mission done.

3k spotting: one game in 54 ltwt and the next one in CAX. Almost 4k. Mission done.

3k dmg: havent even bothered to "go for it". Thats 2-3 games anyway.

Was there 3k exp? How is that even a mission?

My guess is that we will get nada for doing "missions" that easy. But I would like to get anything symbolic at least for logging in every day and get them all done.

Well if you do them for all 15 days they said this will run it nets 15 * 30 K credits= 450 K credits... so what is to complain?

That is correct.

But in essence, mission should be a completion of tasks in order to get to the final goal. Without that goal its just a bunch of things thrown at you that you can - but not need to do.

To be fair, it is called "advent calendar daily missions" so yeah...

Thinking of it, its quite meh overall. But lets us not forget the 34-85m and the Pilot marathons that we had. No complaints bois, no complains...

The point is, a simple prize like 1 day premium, an emblem, or some premium consumables... You know, stuff like that. Nobody would argue that being a nice final touch.

For some bizarre reason you have to manually activate those missions via the calendar offer. And that has only popped up when I log on one time so far. You have to go to the store, then the calendar and click on the box under the offer to get the missions each day.

It's not that the people are taking the correct tank for the mission, that's just good sense, it's the fact that everyone is so you get 10 heavy tanks per side or 5 lights per side.  It skews the MM to give some weird games.  Well slightly more weird than normal weird.

Since the last 2 days it did show up in my client directly, perhaps they fixed it. But obviously. the clickthrough is to measure how many players read the offers. This is standard (online) marketing practice. And for players starting out 30k creds could very much come in handy i think.

Besides. With xmas/NY we probably get some juicy stuff again.
