Potatoes. Because it makes no sense to make more effort than the OP. Pingplotter?

(Jokes aside, Pingplotter here doesn't indicate any relevant issues for EU1 or EU2.)

Pingplotter doesn't tell me other players are having issues though, does it?

In effect, yes, by telling you if your high ping was a result of server lag or the neighbour trying to cook a five-course in his microwave oven.

In related news, anyone else's nose hurts? I haven't been to the doctor yet, but figured it might be something in the air.

It can. If the ping spike is on the server. Then it's likely others do have issues. If it's on a server before the WG servers. Then no.. likely not, but a handful might have, usually in your region. If it's on your ISP or your local network. Then def not.

I guess so, but I prefer to get feedback of other players.

Not sure what what the shitcunt comment about the nose was, but yeah, with a day of long losing streaks I guess you could say mine hurts. I love playing this game, but its [edited]frustrating sometimes.

That's not relevant though is it.

If you got 50 replies from people saying they had issues it just means 50 other people have a rubbish ISP.

What matters is what is causing your problem.

If you have a headache you don't go shout out in the street "does anyone else have a headache?"

Wanna bet? How sure you are that WoT servers have no problems?

Rubbish ISP's are a thing of the past in most countries...

And for sure you know about epidemics... so if you and 50 of your neighbors are having the same symptoms the probability is that the cause is the same.

Do you even have an idea how much of the problems are due to network and how many is due to servers nowadays?

Yes, the absolute most common issue is due to the IT infrastructure being overloaded resulting in packetloss or other similar issues, the second most common is user error , faulty settings, drivers and similar, the least common are dedicated game servers, at least if you disregard launch days and major events.

Pingplotter or similar tools will diagnose the absolute most common issue and there really ain't much point to start troubleshooting before you rule out the most common issue there is.

All fine. EU2 is always about 30-50ms worse for me, regardless of player count / time.

I don't, nor do you, that's the point of running diagnostics rather than guessing.

Wrong.  Competition has led to overselling of bandwidth resulting in contention.  You get sold a million megabit connection but they don't tell you that a hundred million people are sharing it.

And for sure you know about epidemics... so if you and 50 of your neighbors are having the same symptoms the probability is that the cause is the same.

Or you might be the one with a brain tumor.  Your call.

I know a vast majority of people experiencing problems with WoT where they bothered to do one simple little bit of diagnostics we have been able to help.  Usually it turned out to be an issue with their own equipment or something between them and the server.

But hey, if you don't want to know keep your head buried in the sand.
