Sorry I can't figure it out

If you hover over the camo it says 50 gold or 10,000 credits but there's no option that I can find to specify credits, it only lets me buy for gold.

Help much appreciated.

There is no credit option you're looking for, it's the selling price.

It is Wargamings new financing model:

1) Pay gold for every paint and most camo

or

2) Pick one available preset style for credits

...

Credit price has not changed by much but there's now literally zero choice in terms of camo customization.

And I highly doubt this will ever change from this point onwards.

Renting camo for 75k for 100 games seems good to me.

It used to vary by tier, but is now 75,000 regardless of tier.

Yes, to the point I'm wondering if WG didn"t make a mistake... 750 credits per battle... seems really cheap.

Well with 30k battles I doubt your account lacks in credits. Try re-rolling sometime! 75k is a lot of credits.

Yeah I see that.  Not such a good deal on lower tiers.  Seems better on mid / high tiers though & one 75k camo should be enough to grind a tank start to finish.

Take the camo of your low tiers, put it on the tank you want. Moving them is free it seems. So do that if you need camo for other tanks. I took it off the guns of low tiers, as you can't see the camo on half of them as the gun is to small anyway. As the camo bonus is applied if the camo says on the hull, not the gun. Grouped them up and moved them up to a higher tier.

Lots of credits at the moment but it won't have as soon as Tier 10s go on sale.  Higher tiers used to cost around 75k for a month.  Now that it's based on number of battles I might not buy permanent camo on any tanks except premiums I intend to grind credits on.

I wonder how many cheapskates we'll see in game now with hull camo only.

New players tiers 1 thru 6'ish just won't ever have camo. But it will be easy to spot the seal clubbers - they will be the only ones with camo! :D

*same looking cheapskates

Not even true, just noticed that presets apply all over the tank. So cheapskates gonna be diverse..

Already seen a few. Tho it seems you can do the same for paint. Painted my FV 4202 black.. or very dark purple or what ever it is. Took it all of and moved it to the CGC for free.  Tho sadly the Special camo on the AC1 and AC4 can be taken off.... but can't be moved to a different tank.

Seems like you can use camo + paint on one module but if you do then only the camo is visible?  Didn't realise I could take permanent camo off.  Does this mean I can take camo off a FCM50t & put it on another French tank?  Will it cover the whole tank or just one module?

It's the reason why camo costs 50 gold on all tanks now, not depending on tier like before. So yes you can take it off your 50t and put it on a different tank for free. But 1 camo will cover one module. And 50t has 3. Gun/mantle, turret and hull. Paint has more tho as they can be applied to tracks etc. And mantle and gun is two separate parts, not one like on camo it seems.

I put the special reward camo we got on the CDA 105. Took it of and put it on the E25 for free. So even that you can move around as needed for no extra cost.

Tho if you need gold and don't have any for camo or paint. Installing WOWP is not the worst idea. As they have a new set of rather easy missions for 50 gold each. That stack up to a total of 1000 gold if you do them all. It's anything from taking down 3 defender planes to simply capping a base, or taking out 3 AA guns on a base. Something you more or less do in every game anyway.

Wait so I can remove camo from random tank and apply it to hulls of many tanks? And removal is free?

Have I missed something or can you remove camo and reapply it to another tank for free any number of times?  If that's the case then you only need one set of camo per nation so I'm thinking I must have misunderstood.

Seems so. I have 50 gold on my account atm. Neither that or silver goes down when I do it.

Not seen anything to indicate there is a limit on it. I've moved around a few with no cost so far. If you remove one, it's just stacked up with the rest. It don't say anything about a moving limit. As again I suspect that's why it cost 50 gold for everything now, not 50 on a tier II and 250 on a tier X.

I suspect the fact that we could use camo for silver before had something to do with it. If more use that then gold. Then this move makes sense. As nothing is gained or lost either way if WG don't make that much money on it, if no one uses gold on camo that much vs before. So if you can buy a stack and move it around as needed now. WG don't lose anything on it, and you save silver on it.

This is BIG, thank you Balc0ra.

I can add and confirm:

- Some special emblems are classified as non-historical now..

- Special reward emblems can be transfered between tanks (for free)

- I could safely transfer purchased camo patterns between T34 and T30
- Special reward camo on T28 HTC can't be transfered
- "Large spot" gift camo we got today is transferable

Can someone confirm if paint is transferable?

Is gold camo still truely permanent or does it have a battle count limit now?
