Firstly, I love it. Waited a long time for something of this kind and i think they've done it nicely. However there are some things that would make it better if they were changed.

Non Historic Emblems and Inscriptions

Why is this a thing? I get the Non Historic colours, I have them disabled myself. But having "Primo Victoria" or "Fear Naught" on the side of my tank with some special emblem should not count and make my whole tank "Non Historic" No one really complained about this being a problem before and i just find it rather unnecessary. I don't want to see pink tanks drive around, which is why i have it disabled. Someone with a special inscription on the side of their tank is not a problem.

Not being able to buy with Credits anymore

The only thing you can buy with credits now afaik is the preset camos. Which are the shitty ones. Why cant we have the option to buy individual bits with credits as well? including the paints etc. (If i missed it and we still can, please someone point it out as i had a good look and couldn't find it)

They are the main two things that i don't like, But i would love the ability to place logs and so on, on my tanks in the future, I can dream right? :P

-EDIT-

so why is it when i have Non-Historical disabled i see a T57 like this :

But i cant have "Primo Victoria" on my tank? lul

I did indeed find it odd that event emblems are unhistorical. Like the Warchild, 100 year of tanks, 5 year emblem and even the Prima victoria set.

yeah, it sucks to not be able to purchase emblems and stuff with credits; the flipside of that argument though is that it seems camo/emblems are not linked to one specific tank now though.

buy one emblem for 50 gold and it can be used on all your tanks (as long as you don't mind swapping it out every game).

hope this isn't a bug :p

I would find it "odd" but its Wargaming, they're bound to do something dumb like this, Not surprising at all :hiding:

Because it's not in the non-historical list?

The funny part is that this one is historical because its components are historical, while being itself quite the clown camo.

Yes and no. You can do that BUT you'd need 3 copies to apply one to each different camo set (summer, winter, desert).

My point is why is it classed as historical when it really isnt. Im not trying to claim that any of the emblems or inscriptions are historical either. But if i cant have "Primo Victoria" as an example, on the side of my tank because its non historical, then why can someone have a multicoloured T57 and that be historical?

Come on guys, we all know that is historical to have a T57 painted in red/blue/red/green/dark blue, with the russian flag and 'LAXATIVE' written on it.

Yeah, this abomination is considered 'historical' by WG....

About historical/non-historical emblems, I find it funny how War Child emblem is non-historical (well, it's not, but it's nice, unobtrusive, it has some meaning), but disgusting WoT logo is historical

The problem is some of these funky colors are in the historical section - for example, the French blue and the rusty red. They wouldnt be much of an offender if these were monotone, but the fact that you can mix them all over the tank allows fore some eye-gounging combinations.

Same for historical camo patterns. None of these look too bad in themselves, but mixing them can lead to quite the results. See example above.

Gonna see how a pink Bulldog looks like. My all-female crew having been bitching requesting one since the news first hit. Oh wait:

Can I apply style for gold on all tiers, similar to rent style?

No, it will be available only for tier 8 premium tanks and tier 10 tanks

Guess I will send Steve in to break the news to the ladies...
