Hello there,
There is that one M48 Patton I am in love with. The gun handling it offers is brilliant, it literally overwieghts all my hate towards artilery/strv/183 drivers. Playing tier X const. is not very healthy, mostly because economic reasons (especially for someone who has no premium and has no compunctions in terms of shooting HEAT). The point is, that I was grinding most my top tier tanks 3-4 years ago and with all the changes I can't really tell what V-VIII had/has decent gun handling. I know, that I could just go check tanks.gg and I did. But its not always working same way in practice. It's decent player's experience what I am looking for. Everything with decent mobility (ofc except artilery) and pleasant gun handling will do. Share some of ur experience boys, what do u recommend?

First thing that comes to mind is panther I honestly. seconded by the strv 74 tier 6 swedish meduim. both are quick and maneuvrable with very accurate guns and good dispertion values

all i can think off without using tanks.gg:

V: T67 (statpadding king?), Archer, Stug III G, Wolverine, can't think of anything else

VI: Strv 74, AT 8 (might be good after buff?),  VK 30.01 P (good gun handling for 220 alpha at Tier 6)

VII: T-34/100 or T20 if you really want a T7 med that can pen with AP, T29, JPanther, St.Emil, SU-152, Leo with 75mm but only 145 pen

VIII: Many tanks can put vertical stabilisers starting with T8, so you should try tanks with good penetration and not care much about handling

From memory:

T5 - Chaffee. Gun handling isn't that amazing, it is a T5 after all, but it has 1.5s base aim time...

T6 - Strv 74

T7 - Pt M10 (or T71 CMCD as a non-prem)

T8 - T92 which I don't have and happily didn't buy, because that's about the best thing about it. I haven't played that many T8s for a while that aren't prem, so Pershing probably?

I kind of liked Wolverine back in a day, it might be good idea with that one.
You all guys seem to say that Strv 74 is decent? I didnt even touch the line, seems like I gotta give it a try.
Although from what I remember T29's gun wasn't so great.
Well stabiliser isn't everything. Best example? STB-1 which is tier X with terrible gun handling and no matter what equipment will u try, it will stay that way.

it can be even premium as long it has optimal combination of aim time, dispersions and accuracy in practice of course. Any more ideas?

Strv 74 has the best gun handling at tier 6 if im not mistaken, but the armor and speed are a bit lacking.

T29 has a nice gun when you use stabs. 2 second aim time, 198 pen, 320 dmg.

If you want premiums: Type 64, Panther M10, Strv autoloader, Revalorise, STA-2 are just some that have decent gunstats. There are more, you should do some research on Tanks.gg

AMX 13 75, LTG, CMCD, Obj 416.....

Strv 74 had a really nice gun mixing that with it's amazing gun depression values and good accuracy makes it the best handling gun on T6, the dispersion values are better than those of the USA meds with stabilizer.

Else you will have the T6 lights, as they can also fit stabilizers, the T21 is rather nice there since it also has great depression values.

The rest of the T6 lights are let down by the accuracy of their guns (except the type 64, which they couldn't nerf as a premium but got a buff because of being able to fit a stabilizer now as well)

The best gun handling is either of the Panthers, but in giving you the correct answer you'll realise you asked the wrong question.

The Strv 74 is indeed pretty damn accurate, but both armor and speed are lacking.

I see some people say T67... just no, that thing derps its shots all over the place. If you want gunhandling, go with the Stug III G, and if you don't mind sacrificing some for a turret go with the Chi-Nu instead. Mid tier Japanese medium tanks generally have good handling compared to their peers though they suffer in many other aspects (and unlike the Strv, the gunhandling isn't that good to make up for it).

Also Tier V LTs, at least those without an autoloader.

Regarding tanks not yet mentioned, I´d say the German VK 45.03 has neat gun handling, and I´d could also say the Thunderbolt. Last one could be interesting as you can use your Patton crew.

Comet from what I heard, and similarly, the Leo with the 150 alpha gun (should be very similar to that of the Strv 74, which basically has tier 10 medium gun handling). Leo "only" has 10 degrees of gun depression though and is big and soft.

The tier 5 VK 30.01 H also has a really nice gun, though that one stems more from good accuracy and great penetration than it does from handling per se.

T67 is much better than Stug. Much faster + turret, the 150 pen is not a big advantage as you lose the turret. Why don't people seal club in the Stug?

Both are good tanks but T67 is just better in current meta. Maybe Stug will be better with HD maps, who knows? If they make them bigger and give more TD areas, Stug might become better.

Pilot 1...has the gun handlig gifted from the gods of gun handling....0.1 0.12 0.12...or wz-132/lttb/bulldog...0.08 0.12 0.12...but still pilot being slower with better aim time...it's still the best in terms of gun handling at tier 8...except the t92...but that one costs money and you could have gotten the pilot for free...so yeah.

Know it's a TD but UDES at T8 has amazing aim time, accuracy and pen, but only in siege mode. Otherwise hitting a barn door at 20 paces is a remarkable feat:)

Most of the light tanks will have the best gun handling in those tiers.

Like Chaffee has 0.12, 0.12, 0.08 + 1.523s aim time + V-stab, whereas the M4 Sherman has 0.23, 0.23, 0.17, + 2.21s aim time, + no v-stab.

Most US mediums as well will have better gun handling than most other tanks.

T92 arguably has the best gun handling in the game.

VK's gun is supreme for accuracy. It out shoots a Lowe one without needing Vstabs. VK just has a slightly low alpha but that's what good game sense is for I guess...
