only good bits I got were 1250 gold & 3 days premium. so little bit dissapointing but hey ho.

Got scorpion g, about 50k ish in gold, Lorraine 40t and about 5-6mill In credits. Also got crap like a bunch of garage slots oh and about 2 months of premium so all in all, not actually bad value for what you can get but it is gambling.

in 25 boxes got Lorraine and 8k gold, one week of premium time. I would loved Scorpion too, but luck wasn't on my side. Some people got 2 tanks in 11 boxes, some 3 in 25 boxes. Some players got nothing in more than 100 boxes. This is gamling.

25 boxes

7.750 gold

2.000.000 creds

13 days premium

3 low tier tanks

One V topper from X level (got that one after a few games so pretty much maxed from the start)

Nothing to get excited about but it's alright WoT value I reckon

Gave my brother a box set as well and he got a Type 59 from that so fuuuuuuuuu

I really dislike this complete "randomness" of rewards. It's unfair that paying customer who bought 100 boxes got only gold and premium time, and another who bought 11 boxes got 2 tier 8's and still bunch of gold. But, it IS gambling, and it's not meant to be fair.

I think if you regularly buy gold or premium it's not too bad a deal as you will at least still come out of it a little better ( cost of my gold, premium would of been £6-£7)  but if you're expecting to get a premium tank or a big bonus you might be dissapointed.

But as everyone says it is basically gambling real money for possibly useless rewards

I've been playing wot for free for a few years now so don't feel to hard done by,  Could of been worse if i got a scorpion i might of bought more packs hopeing for other good stuff

No it isn't. It is a fact that EVERY single box you buy will contain rewards at least equal to the amount per box.

"Each box contains at least its value in Gold equivalent. On top of that, it also includes a set of in-game items and bonuses. From Credits and Gold to Premium Account time and even Premium tanks—you’re guaranteed a valuable surprise gift from us in every box!"

DOn't know where people keep getting this gambling nonsense from. It wouldn't be called gambling if you went into the bookies and always recieved your stake back.

25 boxes

2 x T4 tanks
9750 gold

1100000 credits

9 days prem

and enough level V decs to get to Atmosphere level 10

The gold and prem time I got is about 1.5 x 'Cherry on the Top'  bundle (30 days prem, 7000gold - costs £25.66)
So at £34.21I got more than my moneys worth back in gold & premium time - with a couple of tanks and a million or so credits for free.

I normally buy a Cherry on the top every 3 months anyway, so although I 'won' nothing spectacular it was a good enough transaction for me to be happy with it

It's still gambling just gambling where you cant really lose out, people arn't and probaly would'nt be buying the packs hopeing to get the same value as the normal shop.

The only reason people will buy them is because they are tempted by Winning a good prize/reward

 So it isn't gambling.

Gambling by definition must have the element of loss involved and an uncertain outcome which may not favour the gambler. If you cannot lose out, it is not a gamble.

Buying a house with a guaranteed break even sell on claus = not a gamble, an investment.

Buying a house in an area which is deteriorating = a gamble, since the price may drop the element of uncertainty is applied.

Buying these boxes is literally buying a few hundred gold with the bonus that you may receive a free gift.

If it was sold as that you would have a point

if the buyer wants the gold/premium anyway they can't lose if they want the premiums etc and would never normal buy the gold etc they don't want or arn't bothered about the gold etc they still stand to lose

Explain your failing logic behind this absurd assumption?

Losing out is physically impossible. Your money is returned to you in the value of obtained in-game goods.

If the boxes were sold for £20 each with £5 worth of guaranteed return but the possibilityof a tier VIII premium tank then that would be classed as gambling.

But they aren't,

So it's not.

What he said...

In the worst case scenario you're going to spend £5 and get slightly more than £5 of stuff. It's no more gambling than buying a pack of trading cards, you're going to get £x amount of value guaranteed, with the possibility of getting a rare shiny card. If you're buying any amount of boxes with the expectation of definitely getting a tier 8 prem then you are, I am sorry to say, an idiot.

Got very similar results. Not testing my luck any further at the moment, just maybe if I get some income influx over Christmas.

My buddy (tank collector) bought the 75 pack and got the Type, among other things. Personally, anybody I knew who actually wanted the Type 59 got one, but I cannot say how many lootboxes everybody of them bought.

As others said, if you need gold and premium time, and possibly want to get the festive atmosphere boni earlier, then the boxes are alright. If all you want is one of the tier 8 prems, this is probably not the way to go.

25x boxes: A heap of utterly useless gold, 9 days premium, garage slots for the low tiers already owned. No tier 8s...

Oh well, I gambled and lost. More fool me, etc.
