Hello. I've just watched QB's video. He said you can swap decorations. I have spent 5 minutes clicking on every option in the garage and I found nothing.

There's a section where it says "Decorations" and the tool-tip for it is "click for more details".
Well, where are the DETAILS regarding changing the decoration changes? I only see a collection book for each of 4 styles. Please help me. I asked in the game but amebas can't speak English.

You receive items for each nation / decoration style. When decorating the tree / house etc. you can choose between all those items and whatever ones you choose will change that certain style. If you choose a chinese snowman for example, youll get a panda, if you choose traditional one, youll get a traditional one. However, put on the decoration before you dismantle them, otherwise theyll be gone from the inventory to choose from for the decoration.

I see. So the style changes AFTER I apply the decorations. I was afraid to put them on.

Indeed, but only for those items which you have chosen to change. If you change all to chinese, youll get a complete chinese christmas decoation of course. After applying the items you can dismantle them without worrying, theyll stay on the tree and in the collection book.

I got to 32% in the 'Traditional' and had some decorations left..i needed some for the chinese so...

Go to the colider thingy and set it to chinese and choose the level you need...then break the decorations into 'Shards'....then craft them into new decorations for china.(Make sure its set to china tho)

...These will show up in your album thingy

So put them each on a tree, the progress of that style gets saved, then I can discard them. Understood.

You know this info from experience or am I missing a crucial post on the forums or on the website that explains this?

Actually when you put them to the tree, they don't show up in the dismantling thingy. So you can't dismantle what you have equipped on there. So yea, always check if you can put something of a higher level to the trees and whatnot before dismantling the rest of the garbage.

I know it from experience, had to try around a bit also yesterday since it is not written as clear as i wouldve like it also. I was worried id lose the necessary items for the final camo gift. However, as K_A wrote, the progress is not saved, it is only saved as long as the items are on the tree etc.

Was it easier last year? Or is it just me being a year older and more thicker, dunno if this is a "correct" word but it fits nicely:)

Well you can right-click deko in the tree and dismantle them directly.

Dunno yet. Getting the right baubles when you have like 2 missing will be a lot easier, but it does take a lot more of the lower level ones to get the parts for a specific one. I guess this year it's less down to luck and more consistent in how long you have to play to get them all. Unless you buy boxes, of course, then you can just fill the tree in a day.
