Its two cases of beer for twenty quid at the moment. Sod the loot boxes.

What is an ASDA?

Unless it is edible I am not interested.

And wouldn't a case of beer count as a lootbox filled with consumables?

What do you class as beer?

They have Lager and Bitter although I suppose beer should be cask ale....I prefer Guinness which isn't on offer which I think is shocking.

Being interested in such things, I can tell you that:

1) There's an offer of "3 for £21".

2) None of it is worth drinking, unless there's nothing else to hand.

3) These "offers" are matched or bettered by everyday prices in Lidl/Aldi.

So. If you've got money to pee up against the wall, you've two or three choices at least. WG's boxes aren't bad - at least you keep what you've spent the money on for a little longer....

Lager and bitter are both beer. If it's got hops in it, it's beer, in fact. If it hasn't got hops in it, it's very likely to be "ale". I have not had any ale at all, ever, except home-made. It is rather sweet and sticky bland stuff. You should try Guinness West Indies Porter (available at the Co-Op, 3 for a fiver) or Guinness Nigerian Foreign Extra Imported (not for nothing did we call Guinness "Nigerian Lager" in the old days, offence of any sort most certainly NOT intended).

Ale. Bitter and Lager but not stout for me.

Current case open is Doombar but I have another five cases of various varieties that I am earnestly intending to murder before I return to work.

Has to be drunk to enjoy himself and thinks the game is broken.  I wish I could talk seriously about the issue raised here, but this really is not the forum.

14.76 Euros for 24 x Leon in the NAAFI in Cyprus.  Mind you, as I get through a crate every weekend it actually all adds up ;)

You can buy "Beer" branded beer in Finland.

The cans literally just say "Olut" which means "Beer". It's pretty cheap :)

I'll get him a beer too, but what's off-topic in an off-topic thread, exactly?

The Norwegian equivalent is "Just Beer"-beer. Bitter and watery, goes well with playing tanks.

Spoiler

Cheap? Well, skipping a sixpack (€12,50) a week does wonders for the pixel budget.
