Tnx. Didn't know you get more +% if you collect more decorations, once you reach lvl X

The explanation of how the thing works has been really bad.  I genuinely thought that to get fstive X you needed all tier V decos of the same type, whereas that is required instead to complete collections in the book thing.

No, to get to level X any T5 decorations will do. However the collections are nation specific (i.e Chinese = Chinese & Japanese). So to maximise bonuses for specific nations you need to craft specific decorations to complete collections once you have reached level 10. I believe the bonus can get to 48% and lasts until mid January.

I got the feeling you aint going to be able to get the camo for all nations unless you shell out the $$ because RNG can screw you so hard, I had 2/3 baubles for traditional and it took me over 15 specifics to finally get the one I was trying to get.

That was just for tier 1.

Similar story here but I've currently got all nations at +36%, which is 36% more than I got last week for playing the game so I'm very pleased with the whole thing and don't feel any compunction to get more ... unless it turns out that there's a special prize for filling all four collections. At least we've got 3 more weeks of missions after this one to complete them.

It's also the first time I've shouted at the computer that I want big blue baubles, not more bloody purple ones. That's been a new experience. :amazed:

They really needed a 'select all' or an option to shift + click on all those bloody decorations, I had like 700 first time I started breaking them down.

Has anyone got pictures of all the camos you get from the collections?

But they're horrific like Christmas jumpers. I'd quite like to get the German one, I could see myself wearing a jumper with that pattern.

Wear maybe, on a tank not for me, they look too silly. I'd presume the middle two do all the 8 nations associated with the traditional and modern xmas

I can't answer that without sounding like that uncle who's always tipsy before lunchtime and slurs, "but it's Christmasssh!" as an excuse. But ... y'know ... it's Christmas and it's a bit of fun.

I think so, the Germans are in the Traditional pack IIRC. It's immaterial right now unless I snap and buy a 25-box pack in desperate hopes of getting a Type, then I'll have plenty of decorations to break down.

Hi all and Merry Christmas,

I thought it might be worth adding (as I didn't figure it out until after) that when you go to create shards and the page shows all your decorations you can smash, if your decoration has a small red dot on it, it means that you haven't selected/registered it yet and it will not appear in your Christmas book as a token received.

You will need to apply firstly to where they are meant to go e.g. either on the house, the tree, the snowman or the fence. If you are in one of these 4 and look at the left hand side you will also see a red dot here on the area selectors indicating where items need to be applied.

Once applied you can change back to the highest level ornament and then go and smash to your hearts content.

Hope this makes sense

Cheers

Yeah, no.

Newly earned decorations are added to albums automatically and stay there for good, whether use them for decorating or crafting new items or not.

Yeh as soon as you create a new decoration, you can basically destroy it for more shards.

The blue camo is sick. I'd like that. Unfortunately I'm nowhere close to getting all those decos, sad.

My apologies then on misleading.

Didn't appear to do it for me as I had plenty of decorations and virtually none in my albums until I started adding them.

Thanks for the confirmation.

As far as I can tell I didn't get anything extra for completing all 4 sets.

But it was late night and you get some inscriptions too so the info box popup for each has quite some text in it. And I did one with 4 nations inscriptions last.
