This really annoys me and guess its prob my way of using the scroll wheel, but why does the focal point change so drastically at times when you zoom in and out?

Sometimes I will be looking at the sky in panic as without movement apart from zoom level I am looking in a completely different direction.

Also I just can not understand why it should do so or why the current focal point has been chosen.

Are you going from 3rd person to sniper mode as you zoom?

If you are the view will lock onto your aiming point. Most obvious

in TD's & SPG's (anything without a turret really).

I guesse it is the same problem as shown at the end of this replay: http://wotreplays.eu/site/4108227#winter_himmelsdorf-imkiller69-kv-3

The camera jumps from  1st person into bird's eye view.

Someone mentioned its to do with near large objects that can cause this effect.
Its a weird one as it doesn't happen all the time and guess it is situational.

This is very annoying and happens to me it is not mod related as I play entirely vanilla. I honestly wished WG would fix issues like this it has been happening for too long now!
