Hi, i just have a simple question. Does Enchanced Gun Laying Drive help my light tank being accurate on the move? Does it help me hitting more shots when circling a heavy?

I've no idea of the conclusion, but people discussed it...

No.

At least not in a straight line, or more precisely when performing a continous manuever. It helps (a bit) if you turn and/or move the turret and then go straight, since you are more accurate when driving straight than when turning hull and/or turret while moving. Well, depending on the speed, but you get the idea.

Unless you have to keep your speed, some have luck releasing the 'W' key a split second before you shoot. Doubt it'll have any measurable effect, but worth a shot if you have the time to slow down a little bit.

(This is applying simple common sense as to the functionality of the EGLD. Vertical stabilizer is always better if the tank can mount it. You will reach fully aimed faster and the circle will start out smaller as well. Win-win! Going for both is an option on certain tanks, of course.)

Simple answer: No.

THere are vaious experiments and theory crafting if you want to know the longer answer, with lots of math if you are interested. I am neither willing (nor maybe even able) to repeat that stuff for you... google it.

GLD is basically ALWAYS inferior to a V-Stabs. There are some very rare situations where the LD might be better but I am not even certain that tanks which fullfill these requirements are currently implemented in the game.

Hence:

V-Stabs >>>> GLD, Only if there is no other option like rammer, vents, optics, even binos or a camonet GLD might be considered. In ALL other cases you will not be able to tell or notice a meaningfull difference.

It's kinda boring that so many of the tanks have two mandatory things, rammer and V-stabs and then you pretty much only have vents or optics to pick from most of the time. Sure some super HT might benefit from a tool box or some autoloader might want GLD and V-stabs, but the only exception is pretty much TD's and arty.
