For anyone who is playing the Strv m/42....its a pussy magnet for being in the losing team...its insane how many times that happends. Humping in another tank and seems to be ok again.

Its not a bad, neither a great tank. But in case if i want to grind it to an Strv m/74... will ruin completly stats,xp,income etc.

Pussy and humping? Sure you're playing WoT and not one of those over-18 games I've only seen advertised?

*plays 20 matches in his highest tier tank and complains he wins half of them.

Good job OP, you deserve the dipstick of the day award.

I must be playing a totally different Strv m/42 then, since at the moment it has my highest WN8 and a good win rate at 65.82%. This is with ~80 games so far.

And it even makes decent credits: I average a hair under 15k profit per game and I don't actively care about profits with this tank (I have roughly 50% APCR loaded).

The Stridsvagn m/42 is prolly one of the stronger (non-derp) medium tanks of its tier.

I have at least the guts to post under the name of the toon i play. And i'm not spamming the forum saying noob all the time because the amount of battles.

Anyways my topic isnt about people but the matchmaking. I'm not using the best gun yet, despite of that i got high caliber with the stockgun in tier 5 match.

But it's hilarious after playing a different tank, than taking this one...being again in the weakest and thus losing team...i dont call that coincidence.

me to bud 28% win rate when I was  grinding it.

but I was in the top 5% players in it and I free xp most of it .

most of the tank I grind in this game I'm lucky to get a 35% win rate in it but mm not rig :sceptic:

mm bin that crap for the last 500 games  I'm lucky to get a 40% win rate so stop playing for now

You're a dipstick because you ignore several factors:

 1) You don't have the top gun yet, making your tank a worse tank than it counts for in the mm.

2) You being a new player with little experience at tier 5, making you more likely to encounter maps, tanks and situations you don't know well.

3) The worst one: you ignoring reality. You lose more in your Excelsior, yet you complain about "losing all the time" in a tank in which you don't.

Your amount of battles or mine doesn't have anything to do with you losing grip on reality.

Correct. A m/74 designation would indicate a model-year of (19)74, while actual designation means it is the fourth tank in service with a 7(.x) cm gun.

With an average damage worth less than two shots with the stock gun you are making your teams bad.

Also as mm is not skillbased this isn't an mm issue.

Play better.

Is a nice little tank.

But heck... if it is a pussy magnet I am going to buy another one and pimp it up. :girl:

I have 79% winrate in mine, but I just grinded past it and played until I got the mastery badge with it. Probably got lucky with some games to get that high.

IIRC it's a very good tank.

After all: next day i suddenly got more wins then losses. So might be a coincidence in the matchmaking.

Well as pointed out above, 20 games is not a good sample size. Win 3 games in a row and suddenly the WR changes to the positive. I see you have 60 in it now with a 51% WR... You just had a cursed tank. Nothing more. I've had tons of them. Last one I had got a 33% WR after 70 games "SU-101". When I recently elited it. It ended up on a 51% WR as the stock grind made it 100% useless until I got the big gun on it. So my impact on bad teams was less then ideal.

Some tanks are just way more module or crew dependent then others. So early grinds you might feel more useless when you get a bad team then normally until your crew gets better, or you get more modules in it. As you can't really expect the team to carry you all the time tbh when you do get a bad tank you don't do to well in.

Beside that...it's a delicate tank to play. Even in it's own tier. Best for sneaking behind the enemy, flanking and snipping. Aiming time is bad imo. Reloading is ok.
