........ a platoon of three Obj. 907's camping base and not trying to win the battle? None were unicums, actually on average they were just about 50% between them? But they didn't move beyond the red line on Lakeville and just waited for the enemy to arrive until we lost? I can't work out what the mission could have been for them to throw the battle?

Most likely they had XVM installed and spotted a couple of unicums on the enemy team.

You have these kind of battles all the time in WOT, but ofcourse when its a 3 man platoon going mental its hard for a team to recover.

Just had a Type 5 on Malinovka spawning just below the hilltop that decided it was a good idea to go the long way around the open fields.

Of course he ended up alone with full HP.

Seeing unicums doesn't seem right to me, their battle costs and loss would have been similar credit wise whether they advanced or stuck to the red line as they did.

Not really. If they had went to the frontline, they could have helped their team win, which would have boosted credit income by alot. By camping in the back, they left their team mates alone, hoping they would win the battle for them.

It would not surprise me if they were trying to do some personal mission, waiting for the team to die so they won't get in the way of the damage or kills farming required for the mission. Some people get very desperate and will do crazy stuff for it.
