Sometimes the sound cuts out during the match, but is ok when back in garage. I have to log out of game, and then log back in so the problem goes away!!!

Anyone else have thios problem? If so, is there a fix or something?

Using an ASUS Xonar 7.1 soundcard. No other problems in any other application aside from WoT.

This issue has been affecting a small number of players since the last patch and we are still in the process of tracking down what causes it. Sorry about that :S

Yes, it do happen to others as well including me at rare occasions:

So far the ones that are affected by this don't share anything in-particular that might be the reason why only some are affected and others ain't. I have it on 4 different computers, one with a dedicated sound card and 3 with onboard sound but different motherboards and OS.

I'm a headphone user and changing from headphones to 2/2.1 seem to fix it for me.

Haven't had a single sound cut out after that change.

I set it to 2.0 and it fixed it. Tho it still occurs on the engines anyway if I turn the master volume in game down to below 5. As I usually do when I have music or videos etc on the other monitor.

I only use headphones as well.

Thank you very much! Your suggestion has, hopefully, solved the problem. Thanks again ;)

If it happens again you can change the sound settings without leaving the battle you're in. There's no need to log out or restart the client, changing from 2.0/2.1 to 5.1 (for example), click apply and then changing back again re-initialises the sound engine.

For me it has been headphones but only the left speaker. I'll try that change though.

It's always the left channel. Known issue, workaround as stated, thank you for your custom and mind the doors. :great:

Dude, really, two posts up from yours. You don't need to disconnect, you only need to change the sound options and change them back. It's like a 5-second job and lasts until the next time it goes (though mine hasn't gone for a while now and I've played every day over the holidays).

Same problem here, sound cuts in mid game never in garage, has been occurring .9.21, just updated to 9.2 today still happening. No mods loaded. I play with headphones and will try changing 2.1 to 2.0 and back. Will post here next time it happens and let you know results.

In the sound settings, tell it you have speakers, not headphones.  That fixed it for me.

Problem doesn't exist according to WOT blah blah blah... Happens to me, changing speakers makes no difference so I have to exit WOT to reopen in order to get the sound back, basically I just use it as an excuse to stop playing.
