Right now it feels quite useless since it is so situational and there are many other commander skills that feel more valuable.

I think that eagle eye should be changed to inform your teammates about the damage to the enemy tank. Another thought that I had was that the eagle eyes effectiveness should depend on distance. Shorter the distance, faster the guy gets scanned for broken modules. Anything within 15 meters should get instantly scanned. Some of these suggestion might be OP, give you opinion, what you think?

Well, it's good to plan where to aim or how to act. InI example, if enemy tank has damaged ammorack, you can try a push or aim to ammo rack location to blow it up.

Its actually surprisingly good, I always pick it at like my 4th skill or so, Especially useful in auto loaders. For example i was playing my TVP T50/51, saw i an E100 had his ammo rack damaged, so i planned to put my whole clip into where his ammo rack is located (Side of the turret on the rear, under the turret in the middle of hull) ended up ammo racking him for 1.9k HP in the second shot

You know to most of us a two and a bit skill crew is pretty much as good as they get, so what you are saying is it's something we will never think about.

Where would you have aimed if the ammorack would have been undamaged?

A LOT if not all crew skills and perks need adjustments but its not even close to some to do list WG is having. Most likely the ink for the pen to write it on the TO DO list is not even produced, so yeah there is that.

I guess it can be useful for planning how to engage the enemy. If the enemy has damaged ammo rack or knocked out loader it's DPM is significantly lowered, allowing you to fire off multiple of your shots knowing he won't reload in time to fight back. If the commander is gone and you're ninja-sniping you know you can be extra cheeky and shoot from a distance closer than you would normally dare and still not be spotted. And if the engine is damaged the tank can be circled to death easier than normal. You know, that kind of stuff.

Many skills have been or have become quite useless so far - like armorer and jack of all trades with the reusable equipment, or most of the Radioman´s skills in general. But I don´t think WG will touch any of them until their "big crew skill rework" which they supposedly have so many ideas about

Depends, In the situation i was talking about with the E100, i probably just would of unloaded where ever i could pen. But as i saw his damaged ammo rack i made an effort to aim it better. Obviously that was just one situation, there have been times in end game where i can see if the enemies loader is dead, and know i can get another shot in, Possibly winning the game.

Didnt really think about that. Obviously its not something you should pick at the start, other skills are far more important

I have  one crew at 42% on their 7th skill/perk and I've not got this.  Don't think it worthwhile.

It figures out enemy has slower reload or bad aim. The more brawly the meta gets, the better this perk. And tbh meta is very ******* brawly already.

Yeah...let's all expect others to train that instead of us, shall we?

In that situation it also gives the information that if you can bait the E100 into firing and missing you can unload AND get away to cover before he can reload. In the case of TVP, its probably possible to unload/reload/unload again in that time.

ofcourse, its just one situation here, but knowing the enemy ammo rack is down can help you..

I wouldn't know where the E100 ammo rack is, but knowing its on reload would let me get a few more shots in before it can fire again, or knowing its gunner is dead I can know it wont be able to hit my weakspots quite as easily as before etc.. etc..

it does seem useful.. but only in the right situation

True, cant be denied that it is very situational.

What would make it more useful is if it allowed you to see a timer for how long the enemy has repairing modules.

Only tanks I have this on is clip tanks. So I know if they are ammo racked or have a dead loader etc, so I know how long I can stay exposed to empty my clip. Vs just doing 2 rounds before pulling back to not do a bad trade etc.
