"Here is a spat between two competing streamers, perhaps one of them is also a fraudster" is essentially how this reads. It does you no credit, let alone the streamers.

Dude, you know the thread about Skill cheating his 3 Marks was inconclusive, the's a scurrilous statement to make.

Or maybe I misunderstood something.

I watch a lot of streamers, mainly Skill and QB. From now on, I will only watch Skill. This was shameful by QB, and showed a really poor character. Plus to be honest Skills stream is more fun and generally more positive anyway (and he is the better player).

I dont ask for any credit. Just felt that when someone does you a favor it shouldn't be met with banning from the chat. Especially when it benefits the charity.

Pretty much this.

By Skill releasing this private conversation he has made himself look like a right fukking clown.  It seems QB attracts mostly either people hanging out his a$$ or hating him because of his relative success on YouTube.

I think QB's worried about his dropping YouTube views & income.  Banning someone because his chat talks about him is desperate - I'd have expected a more subtle approach to be honest.

Yeah, complete 'favour' with no wishing to get anything back from it.  Hence he offered to do it anonymously? Oh wait...

When I read what QB wrote, I see that Skill was *already* banned from the chat for reasons and that QB had no idea that Skill was hosting him or trying to get into chat, and him explaining those reasons while apologising if it created an awkward situation.

Then Skill throws his toys out the pram.

Comprehension is an important part of the aspect of learning to read.

Skill took the bite sized chunks he wanted to be upset by and then chose to go Edited

Why does it have to be one or the other? Can't someone enjoy QB's content for what it is and still be driven up the wall by the way he pronounces bi-NOC-ulars? Can someone find skill's stream entertaining but be put off by his selfish gameplay?

Seems to be a modern phenomenon that you have to either be 100% in favour or against of something, there's no middle ground. Which is the stupidest thing I've encountered for a long time.

I doubt it.  He gets what, 5,000 NEW subscribers a month?  With over 200 millions total views.  Not sure he cares too much about other streamers who want exposure TBH...

He's been sharing his concerns on stream so he is worried - and looking to broaden away from WoT.

I did try to qualify my statement with the word 'mostly'.  I can take or leave QB (or any other streamer TBH).  I do like LemmingRush and Anfield but to each their own.  I do find it odd how some people either get a hardon for QB or assume the oh-so 'cool' anti-QB stance.  When something becomes popular it is very fashionable for edgy types to hate that thing.

Haven't a LOT of streamers, who make a living from YouTube, voiced those same concerns?  WTF has that got to do with this particular instance?  You REALLY think that another streamer gaining subs with have any meaningful impact to what QB does?  Also, why wouldn't a streamer want to limit their 'risk' by having all their 'eggs' in one basket?

Been fan of QB for years now, but this is just wrong.

Its completely right.

You dont walk into another stream and take over... Its like a man walking into another mans house and taking over his wife.

So far we have seen that Skill4ltu is both a WOT-cheater and Twitch-hijacker.

His pronouncing "cupola" as "Kew-Poh-lar" also boils my wee ;)

edit - And Jingles pronounces cupola the same as QB, so I hate him for that too :)

What I gather from this, Skill actually tried to help the QBs charity stream by hosting, and QB thanked for it by banning Skill from chat as the chat were talking too much about Skill.

Hmm, I wonder what would happen if chat started talking about QB in another streamers stream. Say Circonflexes for example? Pretty sure that would get shut down rapidly. (it does)

Irony much?

Well. one way to look at it is that it's QB's primary source of income, and he probably wouldn't even be so succesful if he wasn't as 'goal-oriented' as he is. On the other hand, it's his stream, so he can do what he wants. It's not particularly friendly, and imo it's also a bit hypocrytical to talk about doing stuff for the 'community' if the bottom-line the only thing you really are concerned about is income. Not to stir another beehive, but i'm also sure this is why Jingles is no longer involved in QB's streams etc.

He's trying to create a brand.  I doubt he's worried about Skill "stealing" subs but I think he worried that skill's viewers are the "wrong sort" of viewers for his brand.
