If you constantly can't manage to stay alive longer than 1 minute, you shouldn't be allowed to play certain tanks, Amx, Batchats etc its ridiculous. Nearly half of my games recently are over within 1-2 minutes.

So people who suck are no longer allowed to play? Does that mean I won’t be seeing you on my team or...?

Not sure if it really helps to have the same players in heavy tanks; that only leads to them using two minutes to drive somewhere before they spend another one alive.

While arguably kind of an issue, the problem is randomly distributed among the teams and not easy to deal with. If you set requirements, players will camp like you've never seen before - if that means escaping a penalty. One option is increasing repair costs and the credit income (at least on a win), i.e. you reward players who carry a game hard and punish those who do nothing.

Problem is, WoT is built around encouraging grinding to higher tiers, and it's very obvious by now that higher tiers are not really reserved for better players. Actually, games wouldn't be too fun if everyone were good either, nor would a 'skill floor' solve anything. There are plenty of 50% players, who statistically are above average, that do all kinds of stupid crap. They just have an affinity for doing the stupid crap that works one in ten times rather than one in a hundred. A good player learns to do (stupid) stuff that works the majority of the time. Oh, and he also looks at the team compositions, where the team goes, where the enemy gets spotted, knows where to relocate, where he's in cover ...but you get my point. Statistically I'm a top 5-10% player, but realistically I can't carry consistently - a very valid point in terms of skill-based matchmaking, which is essentially what you wish for. Oh, and it'll also be completely impossible to get into games if you only wanted good players in a team.

I understand the angst but the solution might be a tad final! Lols.

But hey at least I get a chuckle of empathy at the idea.
