I'm sure I read somewhere someone at WG said the Type-5 takes skill to play? I just want to know who this idiot was? Hopefully it was the envelope licker in the mail room and not someone who has a hand in game-design...

Arty is the most difficult class to play effectively.

Thus, Type 5, which is a first line artillery, is the most difficult tank to play.

Seriously what don't you understand?

Do you know how hard it is to point and click :D:trollface:?

I'm not sure if it's good or bad, but since the Type 5 is so blatantly stupid that it has to be intentional, you might be happy to note that it seems to indeed be intentional.

I'd be more pissed off at the Q&A people who argue that it is, in fact, a 'statistically fine tank'.

Signal, goddammit... you 're not supposed to play during x5s. You slipped again, didn't you? :hiding:

well for most of you is pressing "2" already sufficient to speak of a high skill demanding class

so a type5 using its gold HE would be the same ...

Well, seeing as how the Type 5 Chi-Ri has an autoloader with rather lowish alpha and burst, you need to take your trades carefully.

While the Type 5 Ke-Ho is rather slow for a tier 4 light tank, so you can't just rush the typically scouting bushes and you'll instead need to play as more of a support tank.

They didn't say that, what they said is that "They are very difficult to play" and there is a difference. Considering how slow they are and they are good only in certain situations and maps, I'd say yes, they're difficult to play good while every **** with an IS7 can crap on you if he knows what he's doing. On the other hand their derp guns are really a mockery of armor, angling, side scraping and everything that requires 2 cells of brain in this game.

I've been playing that line recently, my first experience with derp guns after 37k battles, never played arty and never played with a derp gun. An O-Ni, a tier 9 game in redshire encounter and an enemy scout hiding behind that rock near the castle and i mean hiding completely nothing of him is visible and got one shot by firing next to the rock for 800 hp, is it a joke? of course it's. Is it funny? for me yeah sure but for him i don't think so. HE = Lame mechanic.

and in most cases   pressing 2  getting 500 pen.  with far higher dpm isnt easy mode ? ignoring most armor too, being far faster aiming guns, faster shell velocity and where the HE might do its 500 damage your average premium shell might have been shot 2-3 times for about 400 damage each

as long as your HE doesnt pen. its subpar in most cases anyway  and bitching about "3" when there is "2"  too is more or less the work of hypocrits

I am sorry, this is too fragmented to understand!

you need skill to hide from arty and gold spammers.
