Hello fellow tankers,

I have received a 30% discount coupon for having been playing the game for 5 years and I was wondering if there was anything worth to buy from the premium shop with it. Considering I already bought a hundred Christmas boxes and got all the premium vehicles and tons of gold and premium time, I was mainly considering these 3 options:

-T92 for 17,54€ (25,05€ regular price)
-Mauerbrecher for 29,18€ (41,69€ regular price)
-25 WoWp Secret Santa boxes for 20,99€ (29,99€ regular price)

The WoWp boxes option is for the free experience that they provide, an average of 150.000-200.000 free experience per 25 boxes. The gold and premium time are just a bonus as I already have enough of them.

Regarding the T92, I really like light tanks when played as scouts, and I heard this little bugger is really good at that, but I am concerned about the poor gun and, specially, the engine issues.

Finally, the Mauerbrecher does not look too appealing due to its speed and obvious weakpoints, but I think it might perform well with my 5 skills E-100 crew. Not sure about the fun factor though.

What do you think? Is there anything worth buying from the shop or that you would recommed?
The coupon expires in 6 days.

Thank you very much and happy new year!

If you like light tanks, buy the T92. The gun has good handling but bad penetration. The engine issues are overblown.

Boxes are realistically the best value - at least if you need what you probably get (or want one of the premiums that you might get). It will also boost your rewards, fifteen days left of the special is plenty for grinding some extra credits and experience.

T92 does not have much engine problems. The module HP was corrected to proper levels the day after it went on sale the first time. Tanks.gg has it at 260, same as e.g. the M41 Bulldog. Of course, it's still mounted frontally, but it does not get destroyed that easily.

Firepower-wise, if you can work with 175mm penetration (which only goes down to 173mm at 500m according to the game, that's actually really good), it's allright. While it does little damage per shot, DPM is not horrible for a T8LT (though kinda bad in the end still, of course). You can generally expect to hit shots, however, with superb dispersion values and good shell speed (better than any T9 LT, for instance). Premium ammo is expensive as balls and only has 210mm of penetration - with HEAT.

It's a scout/harasser more than a medium tank substitute like the M41GF can be, for instance. Recommended for hardcore LT players, or for an alternative way of grinding credits - if you can accept that you won't have an impact in every game.

I spent mine on gold. The most I could buy in one transaction. Yes it cost me a lot but in doing so I got a lot of "free" gold. I've recently bought 2 tier 8 prem TD's with gold whilst they where in the sale. So I saved twice. Also prem account for gold, tech tree prems, camo, crew retraining, demount equipment etcetera (whilst you've got the gold) I'd always at 30% discount.

I really enjoy playing lights but can't see anything in the T92 except for its gun handling, which seems to be excellent. The rest of it is so 'meh' that I'm not bothered about even trying it.

If there's no time limit on the coupon, I'd wait until the Patriot or Skorpion G is put up for sale again, they're both excellent tier 8 premiums and worth the money. Of the rest it's really down to personal preference. Lots of folk will jump the moment the Defender is put up for sale again (if it ever is) but I'd hesitate before recommending it because I find it an utter bore to play.

How about a year of premium account?

Buy more boxes, get a shitton of gold (if you get a premium twice, you should get the gold instead) and use it to get free XP with the current discount.

T92 looks fun, but I´m seriously sceptical about how infulencial it can be with such a weak gun.

Mauerbrecher is probably fun to roll over newer tiers and noobs, but will be exploited by knowledgeable players and can likely not do too much vs. higher tiers that aren´t stupid. Could be quite boring to play. The Löwe performs much better in the tougher setups and is already discounted when you buy it for gold.

That's what I did with my 20% (three years coupon). 25 boxes and sure I got two premium vehicle golds, but it was 1200 a piece. Rest was standard bottom of the barrel scrapes. Lames boxes ever. :P

T92 is loads of fun, but actually winning games with it is pretty hard. Low alpha, not great DPM. Awfully expensive gold rounds. The gun is very good though otherwise. I fully recommend it though, if you like sneaky fast light tanks.

Mauerbrecher seems pretty bad, and most people seem to agree with this.

For me it's the other way around as Strappster. I recommend the T92 despite mostly being a LT hater. "Hater" is perhaps the wrong word, but I almost never play lights normally. The T92 just ticks the boxes I needed from it. It has godlike "shoot-on-the-move" capabilities and high shell speed with standard round. Add in 10 gun depression and great camo and you have a really nice ninja tank. If you're like me and can't stand playing the Blackdog with its horrible shell speed, this is probably the tank for you.

On the negatives it does have 150 alpha, meh DPM for such a small alpha gun, bad pen, nearly worthless gold round and the top speed is capped to 60km/h. It's also tier 8 so you will get [edited]ed in the [edited] by the matchmaker. But it's fun to play. If you'll spend most games being a useless support tank(the reality of tier 8 normal matchmaking), why not as well have fun when you do it?

I can recommend it if you are like me and appreciate gun depression, God tier gun handling and shell speed a lot. It's not a tank you should buy if you're tryharding to win games or being relevant. In that case just buy a lot of the Christmas boxes and crack one of the better tanks. T92 is a tank you buy if you like goofing around and just having a good time. For me it's been worth the price for its "play for fun" value, not its game winning or credit earning potential.

Thanks for the replies!

I am not interested on gold or premmium time as I already have loads and loads of them, and there are also no premium tanks in the Tech trees that I am interested in that I don't have already. As I said, I already bought Christmas boxes and got all the tanks that I was missing as well as enough decorations to complete the collections and get the Christmas mood to level X, so no point on getting more of those.

I am kind of convinced to use it on the T92, but lack of good maps for scouting and terrible gun still puts me off a bit, though I really love my Black Bulldog...

I received one of 30% a few months and bought the T34, I wanted a heavy VIII, I pondered among all, 112, IS6, Lowe and T34, and opted for T34 for his weapon, which offers more in a fight against VIII / IX or even against an X

I did. What I meant to say was: how did OP receive his coupon; by e-mail, in-game, you have to 'click' smth etc etc.

Been playing well over 5 years and can't remember receiving anything.

I just got an in-game pop-up telling me that I had received one for the 5 years I have been playing the game for. I received it one day after the real anniversary, though, and they didn't notify me by email, only when I logged in the game.

Hi Congrats on hitting 5 years,  its nice getting that coupon I got either 131 or Strv with mine can't remember as you have a lot of premiums already I don't know what to suggest. Do a bit of research digging around and ask some of the Veterans on a good suggestion :)  GL .

In your case I do not know, but in mine, before receiving any coupon, I had already bought a T26E4 SuperPershing and Pudel, and I already bought a premium monthly account and then I received a coupon of 15% I did not use it and after a week or two I received 30% and I used it on T34.

All he asked was a simple question. Just give him a straight answer.

To answer the query I think it will of appeared in game, that's how I got mine for the three-year mark.

Happy new year!
