Depends; is your hardware good enough to get more than 75FPS?

WoT have an FPS cap, I'm not sure exactly what it is, think it's around 120, but if I'm not mistaken I also think it's set dynamically based on your hardware, think there is an actual hard-cap before 200 though, there are various threads around the forum that show you how to unlock it though.

If you got the hardware to support an 144Hz monitor then I'd go for it, it's quite a nice experience compared to 60-75Hz, I wouldn't say it's required or make a huge difference, but I must admit when you're used to a faster Hz it's hard to go back again. However keep in mind that if you need to have Vsync on and your hardware can't deliver enough to support the screen your FPS will get cut in half and then you won't see much benefit from the screen, it might actually be worse than your current setup.

Yeah that sounds like good enough to see a benefit from a 144Hz screen, don't expect miracles though, I didn't notice a thing when I upgraded my self, at least not until I used my old screen as an extra screen to my laptop, then I noticed how hard it was to go back to a 60Hz which was what I had before.

Good luck and hope you'll like it, but as a sidenote I think you should change your name a bit, replace the two last a's with .si instead. ;)

Tired of playing on crap laptop with broken keyboard. Ordered an desktop today:

  • Intel® Core™ i5-7400 3.0 GHz prosessor
  • NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1070 8 GB GDDR5
  • 1 TB 7200 RPM + 128 GB SSD lagring
  • 8 GB DDR4 2133 MHz SDRAM

What monitor do i need for this, is it possible within the budget of 200 - 400 euro?

My knowhow on this subject is monitors with analog adjustments.

Display port is best for high hz

Not read about unlocking fps tho, anyone got a link?

As in sat @122? Leaving 45 unused

WoT doesn't go higher than 120-130fps.

Don't think there's an unlocker either.

Don't think it can be unlocked either.

I've never tried any my self since I don't see the need to, but there are plenty of threads and similar about it, here is the most recent I know of:

http://forum.worldof...-remove-fps-cap

Note though that doing this might come with unintended consequences since the engine might not like a higher FPS, especially if it's very high.

@122fps i havent noticed any difference in game play, but cheats do stand out more!

But despite wg supports best brains, they cant spot cheats, when told, the second they occur on a video
