I mean come on, 1 gold per 7.92mm round?

Because 10mm more pen is totally worth spamming into the ground around your intended target.

1 - Who pays with gold?

2 - It's easy credit sink for all of the people who foolishly use that hopeless top pop gun when the second gun is superior in every possible way ;)

Because 400 credits per 7.92mm round is so much better......

One clip costs bloody 16,000 credits.

Why not, having a idiot sealclubber shooting all that gold at you feels good, it is just like the drunken idiots throw money at dancing 'ladies' - all those money for nothing...:child:

Exactly, and its for a whole extra 10mm of pen. I strongly recommend playing it with the second 2cm Flak 38. It makes it a whole different animal.

The splooge gun is hilarious fun but it's totally ineffective in reality.

You try to say that you married a wh*re because you let her pregnant, and after 9 years your kid calls you on the phone?

Or you try to say that you f**ed a wh*re and you did not use condom, and after 9 months you are the 'happy' father of a kid you did not want?

It's tier 3. If you're seriously considering which gun is the best to run on it then firstly, stop stat-padding and secondly, I'm definitely buying a Locust and only loading gold. The whole point of the Pz. I C is to scream around the battlefield spamming fire at anything red before blowing up and leaving stunned and dizzy enemies in your wake! :izmena:

Totally agree, but it does give a fun different play style. Makes it more of a stalking cat. Sneaky, sneaky, pounce!

Top gun makes into a tiger cub on catnip :D

Yes if you don't spam machine gun round over the battlefield while driving 72km/h down a hill why even have the tank?

A 2 PzIC platoon spammed APCR at my Valentine II once, I blocked around 2000 damage.

I feel it's important to show that I'm a man of my word. :honoring:

Wee sleekit, cow'rin, tim'rous beastie ...

I'll admit to pausing before clicking the buy button because the way my luck runs there'll be 50% off low-tier premiums starting tomorrow but I figured that I'd get a 100% crew at half-price today so my saving's made there. Now to go make some noob's day as he wrecks the sad old seal-clubber firing full gold in tier III. :izmena:

While the difference is pen seems miniscule, it matters more if you shoot at a distance. Average pen for AP@400m is 22,5mm. APCR@400m is 29,5.

(On a related note, discovered that the T15 actually has major dropoff for APCR at 500m; the penetration is hardly better than AP at that distance (effectively less), a trait I've so far only seen on the BL-10.)

After a frustrating run of games I dusted off the PZ IIJ a few days ago for a game and the enemy PZ IC's had a great time with their premium ammo.

Obviously I played it purely as a crew trainer......:B
