With the amount that are playing and the difference in meta to 15v15 and how much I am enjoying that game mode my answer would be Hell No!.

Its just so good to have a different meta in the game and the 30v30 do that as often its a bad dash to cap or find the last remaining before the clock strikes draw.
It still gets its fair share of lemming teamwipes but yeah there is definitely a different meta and that is such a welcome change.

15v15 would be lost and the meta would be to just rush one side after the slow realization 15 tanks  isn't enough to hold that map.

Grand battles are certainly grand and the 30v30 is a brilliant change.
Battle tier 11 doesn't fit on many of the maps we have, mines, ensk, himms are just dreadful, so I can understand about the maps.
Battle tiers 9 & 10 are not much better in general.

So rather than butcher a great mode make additional maps 11kmx11km 15v15 map for BT9 & a 12kmx12km map for BT10.
As your are right map size brings in far more uniqueness than many of the recent failed attempts to do anything new to what have been done before.

These can all be under the 'Grand Battles' optional mode and released as some substance to the iconic WoT1.0 as its looking like it will just be remembered for just another WG HD paint job.

PS there are 2 maps Klondike & Nueranberg (forgot how you spell it) for 30v30 Grandbattles and both excellent.
Klondike in the NW corner of B3 has almost a boost point that the south dont get and it needs a rock or something to block it.

Nebelburg doh! :)

Playing tier 10 light tanks, there is a completely new level of uselessness that Klondike map can bring you. Thanks WG!

I don't play anything above T8 and all my T9's are gathering dust and was thinking about maybe give a T10 a go on grand battles.
Only played a med so far and thinking about it Klondike is prob extremely hard to spot as its a big map with choke points.

Still going to give it a go, WG need to award lights xp for spotting irrespective of assistance, so that if your crap team doesn't hit what you are working hard to spot at least you can still rack up some creds.
That one simple shift that may award spot count, distance moved, proximity in awards rather than being forced to help the competence or incompetence of to gain assist will mean you might not just chose to fight it out in what is just a poor version of a medium.
Thats all battle modes really and for me at battletiers 9,10 &11 its extremely apparent and why I stick to my T8 lights for fun.

Maybe you just point out a single bush that actually works on Klondike as I am interested.
Seems so much doesn't have line of sight and if you do, you are right out in the open and likely to be doomed.
Shout out some spots as interested in giving some lights a go.

Been thinking Rhm Panzerwagon fully pimped might actually come into its own on grandbattles with that view range.
Still think WG need to award spotting and light tank xp that isn't dependent solely on assist or going sub med and doing the dmg yourself.

Sry, not gong to reveal my secret bush, but it must be OK if I can outspot RHM with Sheridan.
