Nowadays when your so-called team mates are dropping dead like botflies (pun intended) all around you, are you always motivated to carry on until the bitter end? Do you ever get bored and just get yourself killed ASAP because you just cannot be bothered anymore? So what if 1 time out of 50 you might pull it off somehow, what about the other 49 times which is pure wasted time? Why carry a team when the very word "team" in WOT is sheer travesty nowadays? Play for personal pride? I take more pride in moving on to the next match in hope of finding a decent team - in hope of enjoying human v human teamplay for a change. Don't want to carry the stupids.

Never give up stick in to the bitter end. Even if you have a better chance of winning lottery than winning the battle.

It can be surprising as to how many low health Reds you can pick off as the battle draws to a close.

If my team dies that simply means more tanks for me to kill. Why give up? Farm that damage!

There are enough times I know I won't get that damage, for example when rng is already trolling me all game. There are enough players out there as well who intentionally throw the games for allies, so I won't stay alive to lower their chances of survival and get more damage. I won't reward these kids.

I allways fight till the very end. Why give up? You may get an epic win or a epic medal that will give you brave resistance bonus. And even if you can't get one of those reward, at least you have fight with all your skill and will earn more credit and XP.

I'll always try and win if my team are awfull why play otherwise? Plus i like to think of them all getting <500xp on their daily double.

I've certainly learned that one player can make a difference. Yesterday, I had my best battle ever in the Batmobile with almost 4,000 damage and five kills. My ally in an IS-7 did around 4,700 damage but with no kills.

When I died to a T-10, we had three tanks left on reasonable HP, and they had three one-shot kill tanks.

We lost.

I did a lot, but I was probably reckless towards the end and a little more care may have seen us win.

Unfortunately, no matter how many times I am.in this situation- where I, or another player could , or do win the battle, I do give up all too frequently. It can get to the point where the enemy being two or three kills ahead sets of negative vibes, and I'm inclined to YOLO

But what about those players on your team who put in a good performance? You penalise them too?

It depends. 3 arties and horrible team... I would rather try my luck with next roll of mm (kemping for extended duration of time just to get shat on by arty is waste of time).

on paper, I do, there's no question about it, but not intentionally to them. it not my fault. it's WG not being able to make a decent mm with all those roflstomp battles. they should blame the players that refuse to play. when I press "play", I play. why should I bother helping allies that refuse to help the team and give the enemy free hp, for the only reason that they receive a free win? that's disgusting!

Depends on what I'm playing and the situation. If I'm the last tank, surrounded by half-a-dozen reds and get tracked, I'll save the repair kit for another time. If I'm playing a slow arty and my last-ditch shotgun attempt misses, I won't try to run away for my reload but I will try if it's an assault battle, I'm the last defender and if I can string the battle out for a few more seconds we'll win.

But if in doubt, I'll take as many of their hp with me as I can. :izmena:

Bulldog spirit. Never give up. Always fight to win, no matter what the odds

also I see that qpranger has one Kolobanov's medal so sometimes he does stay to the bitter end, and wins despite overwhelming odds.

Sometimes I just yolo and die these days.

I'm not proud of it, and it's mainly for some maps. I have for example zero interest playing a tier 8 tank in a tier 10 game on Mines. It's just misery.

I play a lot of arty; never give up, never suicide, save the last shell for a shot to the face of the first that finds me.

Even if there's no chance of a win, exp can be earned, and damaged done.

Yeah, sometimes I'm getting really pissed, because of usless players on my team.

Usualy, I drown my tank immediately if it's possible.

But sometimes, I just stand and do nothing, just watching how these fools around me getting wrecked in seconds...

Or, I just quit the game, because I'm so sick of these idiotic and toxic teams...

I've decided not to go and "help the team" by being the only one or one of two on one side of the map, I used to think it was right no to leave a side open. Not bothered in that anymore.

I've seen a lot of purples yolo recently and i can understand them when you see what teammates mm gives you or how they deploy after the countdown. I mostly just try to survive and do as much damage as i can and with luck it might even turn the game. Happened a few times and those were the truly epic games where i was about to give up because i was almost out of ammo as well. But those games were also tiring.

Let me preface this by saying that I understand your intentions. HOWEVER

If I am on your team, and you behave like this, I don't care what your intention is. You are sabotaging my team. I will always try my best in every match, though of course that doesn't guarantee a victory or even a good game. I have no problem with a player as long as they try their best, but you by your own admission don't. Sometimes you decide your team isn't worth it, which means you become exactly the sort of person you say you wish to penalise. The truly disgusting thing is not someone who isn't doing their best winning, it is actively trying to sabotage the chances of players who are trying their best.

Where is the option: I have stopped playing the game (actively)!?
