Hi guys,

I've heard a lot about Tier X tanks being expensive to run, and that tiers 7 & 8 are the most profitable, but I love my RU 251 and nearly always make good credits with it.

Can anybody compare this with the Rhm Pzw, do you still make money with that, or is it more costly to run?  My lights are my main credit grinders at the moment so while I'd love a Tier X light, I probably don't want to do that if it's going to lose me money operating it.

If you were to pick between these two tanks purely in terms of the typical credits you make, which would you go for?

don't expect it.. tier 10's are not to make credits. they usually COST it.

For credits stay with the RU 251.

Otherwise you will most likely loose credits, when you play your Rhm Pzw as it is supposed to be played. That means, don't be afraid to shoot gold if you need the penetration. And you will often need all the penetration you can get.

Im doing quite well in my T-100 lt if u focus on spotting rather than shooting. Spotting is basically free credits....

There is a massive spotting pool out there at t10. I have even started focusing on tracking and then letting team mates obliterate the victim. Grilles and jgpze100s do a lot more dmg than i could ever do.

The APCR shells for the Rhm cost about three times as much as the APCR shells for the Ru251. Repair costs will also be a bit higher. On the other hand you'll usually do more damage which results in more credits earned. But on average the T9 will likely be a bit more profitable.

(vbaddict states ~17k credits gross base income for the Rhm and ~14k for the Ru251, doesn't have data about supply costs or net income for the Rhm though).

True, but you can't rely on your team to shoot and make you win, especially with loads of city maps being in the rotation. You need to do a lot of damage yourself as well.

As well as the fact that tier X is expensive to play in any tank, its also important to note that the Rhm Pzw is a big pile of steaming poo, that your win-rate will be much lower than in the RU, and your stress and rage levels will be much higher. So, unless you're a kick-[edited]and experienced tier X light player, I'd defo recommend avoiding the Rhm like the plague.

Of the light tanks you have played, I imagine the HWK12 or LTG is your best bet for grinding credits. If you want to grind another line, I really enjoy the T49 (90mm).

Agreed it takes patience and planning. If u survive and on full health it works wonders to ur credit income. Basically in a t10 light one mistake and u are dead, u have to be really sneaky in ur play.

Yeah, I liked the HWK, but love the RU251, and the LTG was one of my all time favourite tanks until I got the hang of the HWK.

I think I'll keep the RU251, and work on upgrading my LTTB, the T-100 LT sounds awesome, and I suspect could be as much fun as the LTG was :).

Thanks guys!
