Is the new trend for 2018 to all NOT go hill on Tundra and throw the game on purpose?

I had to play this trashmap so many times today and lost the battle most of the time. Seems to be going like this with heavies going to exactly the opposite side as they usually go and then do nothing. Same with meds going with heavies and don't support but being useless there.

I have seen "teams" take that hill with utmost efficiency and then just totally fall apart.

So far I've noticed the return of the K-2 camp on Fiery Salient and the abandonment of the hill on mines - everything as usual :)

Mines is completely brokenly unbalanced especially on the encounter version.

North side dominates the middle rock completely and unless you have 3x 65 km/h tanks that try to survive the HT fire already in position you lose every time.

This map is just total crap. It had a good idea in it - take the middle hill or break through the village, or lose. Lighthouse approach covers the route to the hill and is the quickest way to reach the enemy artillery spots.

But it's too damn small and it's balanced, so that the North can easily take the hill, therefore, north usually wins.

I wonder if that data is available?

Just curious how often North Spawn wins by comparison.

but if you break through the village, you put yourself in a crossfire between the camping TDs in A4 and the people on the hill (E7). Will that push be successful?

Same, but they're always on the hill first, unless they are total bobs.

According to vbaddict, team 2 (=north spawn, I'd assume) wins 55.69% of the overall battles on mines, or 60% encounter (top value) and 52.93% standard battle. According to those stats, for standard battle there seem to be other maps more unbalanced, top are Murovanka team 2 with 55% and Siegfried Line team 1 with 54.95%.

Maybe it's not quite as bad as we imagine then?

Tundra - Just witnessed 6 heavies (Maus, E100, T10, M103, VK OP & Tiger II) get held in the valley by a Maus and WZ111 1-4. They had no excuse not to push, as all the enemy tanks had been spotted at the hill or supporting the hill. They had 4 tds sniping the hill

5 of us were left to try and contest the hill whilst various other dribblers went for a wander.

No Mines is broken as feck all it takes is a mildly competent team in the North to win, but you need a very competent team to win from the south. Losing the North happens when The North team has more challenged players than the south.

I noticed WG have been pissing about with the terrain elevations again on Valley bag of spanners spawns, Airfield, Prokorovka, Siegfried, Redshire and can't remember its name Town in south, village in middle North has fiery version A1 favorite spot for Ikea tanks. Oh and a general application of agent orange as more bushes are gone. Welcome to table top tanking
