Why will the game be receiving a completely new graphics engine but not have any SLI support ?

SLI / CorssFire was neat when it first arrived, I got a 3 card setup my self, but recently more and more games lack the support for it, so it's not that surprising that it's not exactly super high on the prio list in WoT either. Today you're better of with one great GPU than several ok ones in an SLI / CrossFire setup most of the time, well at least if you're not a coin miner, shame since the builds themselves look quite neat with several cards in them.

Yeah, I've just upgraded from a pair of Geforce GTX 980s in SLI to a single 1080TI and overall, it seems to work a lot better. I mean of course it would as the 1080TI is one of the most powerful GPUs on the market but a lot of applications straight up won't support SLI so for now, you're probably better off with just one solid GPU.

Why people invest in SLI system is beyond me.

Its a BIG WASTE OF MONEY and electricity. Not my honest opinion but a fact.

A single top tier GPU is always better than a SLI.

Half the games on the market dont even support SLI in the first place and when games do support it its often with bugs and errors not to mention it never scales to 100% not even close.

Sure you can mention e few extreme cases where SLI is useful but the general rule is that its a waste.

For games yes, for work there are quite a few uses, but that's beyond the point of this thread.

Hi guys!

I downloaded WOTenCore, and tested it. You can see my system and received points for the new game mechanics to compare.

I hope I helped.

Two words: D3D9 and WinXP (yep, enCore still supports XPSP3)

Direct3D 9.0c is strictly single-threaded. This means only one core and one GPU at a time.

Why are you even surprised, both AMD and Nvidia are flat out dropping SLI/Crossfire support for all but their high end cards.
