... not know that Emil I is an autoloader?

Seriously, this has happened just now.

A guy on my team accused me of being a coward

because I did 4 shots at enemies next to him

and then went to hide for reload.

Could not ram them, DID NOT NEED TO RAM as we were winning.

Maybe he wanted you to tank some shots for him. With that awesome Emil armour.

This. I always hit F8 whenever I'm in an autoloader and going into reload and there are other friendlies anywhere near me who could use that knowledge. I might also hit it again when I'm 5 or so seconds from getting my clip back to let them know I'm back in action. I know 90% of the time they won't see my messages, won't care or won't know what to do with the info, but if it helps one guy make the right call in one game out of ten, it's still worth the keystroke.

I just killed one tank right in front of him after shooting it 3 times, some people just cannot take a hint.

just like my dear forumites said, F8 is your friend.

I always use it on my arty, and my very few auto-loading tanks( vk 1601 leo, amx 12t), and sometimes accidentally on the KV-2

Many players with 30k+ matches dont know the basics. So, why does this surprise you?

I can't fathom how anyone can call anyone else a coward merely for what they do or don't do in an online computer game.

1) With only a thousand battles they may be nowhere near having an Emil I. Why would they be assumed to know the stats of every tank in game?

2) I don't have an Emil either, but I have heard they have great turrets? If you were in a hull down position to draw (and bounce) fire, then yes you could be a coward for hiding even if you are reloading. Not as if you would have to stay completely stationary to do so.

2) (a) The enemy are not necessarily counting your shots. They may not realize you are are reloading and thus may be more cautious because you are still popping your head up as a potential threat.

Summary, you may well have been a wise coward, but that does not make you brave.... nor does 1000 battles make someone especially knowledgeable.

Erm, it was thousands of battles, and if the player is playing the same tier they should know the opposition they are likely to face. And yes qpranger could have drawn the enemy fire by poking his turret, but that isn't going to save him from artillery, nor is an Emil's turret impervious, and retreating to reload gives a chance to study the map and decide what to do next and not sit dumbly in one place.

That gets penned with gold, I ain't taking my chances, especially as we are winning already.
