I'm really tempted to buy the Patriot, since it's only available for a couple more hours. Though I was thinking, it is very similar to the T26E4, just better in every aspect, but the Super Pershing gets preferential MM. I am looking for a cheap money maker. Both are priced at their standard cost. Should I wait for an offer? Or should I just buy one now? And which one should I go for? And yes, the price difference matters a lot for me, not being a person that usually spends a lot of money on F2P titles.

Get the E5/patriot. The super p is meh and the mobility is pants. It's preff MM also doesn't mean much in today's current Tier 8 matchmaker. If you can afford the little bit more defo the E5. But of course this is only my opinion others may have different views.

are you really sure you wanna buy a t8 premium before you even have a basic understanding of the game? You will be in for a harsh awakening, no matter what tank you buy

Didn't you already win the non-skinned on in the Holiday Ops boxes?

No brainer got both absolutely no similarity in play.

E5 is a heavy that has just enough speed that it can operate as a med.
Its RoF at higher tiers can be used really effectively and its cupolas are tiny in comparison.

E4 is this lumbering beast of relative poor pen and a bit of a bore to play.

E5 I don't seem to get many OP amazing matches but it so consistent that its a great XP & cred earner far more than the E4.

oi, rudeboys, I have 3 marked Spershing and it's a good tank if you play it well... but not really for credits. You want credits, get the Patriot.

I'm leaning towards SP as the better tank but maybe i'm just biased as i have it for longer than the other. After a fast comparison i'm thinking that maybe e5 might have a a slight advantage as in higher DPM, with better AP penetration and basically the same APCR. Better for hull down because of somewhat more difficult to notice and hit weak spot.

On the other hand SP is misleading people as many are still crap with it, so you can bait non penetrating shots and take people by surprise and punish them for not focusing on you. I also believe it has better frontal hull armor with that spaced thingy.

Asking to compare T26E5 and T26E4 is like asking "What's better, night with Jennifer Lawrence (if you don't like her, replace with whatever actress you find attractive) or being shived in the lung".

Strange, t26e4 seemed to have a better frontal armor.

And e4 med is slower than e5 heavy ?

why not ? ...the classification (light, medium, heavy, TD ) does not give away how fast/mobile a tank is, where you have to fight or how you have to play in it
