If I blacklist someone will they still be able to see my messages?

As long as you ain't on theirs yes they will still see your messages, at least in a match. If I'm not mistaken you can't PM someone you got on your blacklist, but if you remove them temporarily and PM them they should also get that PM but you won't see what they reply if you've put them on your blacklist again.

And why would anyone want to message someone on the blacklist, you have blacklisted them.

 

Just a thought, is the term 'blacklist' racist??

Nah I think it have more to do with religion than race, light = good and darkness = bad, the same reason why a black hat is a  "bad" malicious hacker and a white hat is a "good" security expert. Think it have more to do with how close ties languages have with religion and how it have evolved since ancient times, you know the "good" angels are white, the "bad" fallen angels are black and so on.
