So how many people do have to bend over in order to get the Leopard 1 up to speed with the rest of the tier 10 mediums?

Aside from the good gun handle, does the tank has anything else in favour? Seriously, I'm not joking... WG blasts us with more Russian tanks (not to mention the buffs) which takes time and money to draw and design but they have no budget allowance to up the Leo 1 a bit? Is it such an OP tank that doesn't deserve to improve it?

I've had mine for a long while now and rarely play it - and when I do it's usually in the fast scouting role.

It is what it is - if it doesn't suit the way you like to play, then move on to something else.:)

IIRC Wargaming's "statistics" suggest the Leopard 1 is not in need of buffs. The same "statistics" that suggest the Type 5 is ju-ust fine.

Most likely they need some time to figure out what broken crapthey can do to it.

That tank is indeed seriously underpowered. Unfortunately WG has stated that they are done with rebalancing tier 10s but for some reason this tank (and perhaps STB-1 and E-50M) have been left behind.

It is a shame, such a great looking tank but it is just so bad. If only the balance dept would be playing something else than super HTs maybe then they would realize it too.

I'm almost permanently ready to go for the Leo PTA, but feel that to justify eliting it I have to at least believe in the tank that comes after even if I don't play it, and I don't believe in the Leo 1. I've played the Leo 1 each time on at least three of the last four test servers and Sandbox but a couple of great games doesn't make up for a fundamental lack of reliability.

WG as already stated that the Leo 1 is balanced and any buff would make it OP.

Try the swedish leo, then u will see a diabolical gold xp farm designed by wg.

U have to turn the same direction as the earth, or the rotation on the earth cancels out the tank tracks

The gun handling is the only thing going for this tank, it is true.

But it is not to be underestimated.

I try to engage targets in concealment and >400 m., more like a mobile, constant changing ambush places TD.

The Obj140/Ob907 have good gun handling, the Leo does not.

It gets inexcusable potato gun handling when moving and traversing.

Leo 1 is with the current MM slightly more viable due to often seeing 3-5-7 MM, but it is anyway horrifying to see the performance gaps to tanks like 430 or 907...

It's not left behind, they actually looked at it and stated that it would be too OP if they buffed it.

They must be doing some really amazing drugs there.

I categorize the top tier meds in two seperate leagues, brawling meds (140, T62, Stb1, 121 etc.) and sniping meds (Leo 1, Amx 30B, M48A5 etc.)

I would far better have a Leo when sniping at 420 m. than an Obj 140 anytime, whatever the stats say.

But you have a point, aiming during turret traverse/move can get better, accuracy is top notch though.

Gotta have those hidden penalty soft stats for German tanks.

WG won't add them to the official client because "it would confuse people too much". Yeah people sure would be confused about those Russian "balanced" stats like IS-3... tier 8 heavy tank has almost tier 10 heavy tank gun handling because da da comrade.

LOL, accuracy in WoT. Great meme. Patton have good gun handling, Obj 140 have good gun handling, what Leo 1 has? Good accuracy and aimtime. On paper. Accuracy isn't nearly good enough for it to be a sniper, it would need Strv level of accuracy. Aimtime is totally screwed by god awful soft stats.

But hey, its amazing at sniping outside of render distance so buffing it would make it OP, right, riiiiiight? Kappa

How often do you get to snipe at 400m, standing still, and have time to be fully aimed?
