Hello fellow tankers and tankgirl,

and also forum mites and so on.

this time, I'd love to know what are your favorite two superheroes?

remember, you can only name 2 (two). not three or five.

here are my favorite, but can't decide which is more awesome...

#1 The Toxic Avenger

#2 Sgt Kabukiman NYPD

bring it on! :izmena:

Well I wouldn't say I got any particular favorites, more some that I really don't like, for example Spider Man, yuck. However the two that came to mind the quickest are Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson) from the Death Wish movies, The Punisher before there even was a Punisher, kinda the same reason I pick Eric Draven (Brandon Lee) from The Crow but the setting also plays a major role for this one. Also must send an honorable mention of Zero / Lelouch vi Britannia from Code Geass, truly epic stuff.

Actually, Punisher (my pick for my fav super"hero") was introduced in 1974, same year the first Death Wish movie came out.

My second pick would be... I dunno. There are plenty of decent ones and a lot of bad ones. Eric Draven is a good one, but I'll go with the Hulk, just because Hulk smash.:D

There can only be two. Best duo ever. I still laugh each time I read about those two.

Didn't know that, I've only seen later iterations of him, but I guess that's the comic version and not the movie/series version?

Yeah, that's comic books. The first film adaptation was a horrendously awful 1989 movie that had Dolph Lundgren playing the titular character.

I see, that explains why I didn't know that The Punisher was so old, by the way, the Death Wish movie is based on the book with the same name by Brian Garfield that came out in 1972 ;)

That should be used in a tutorial on how to deal with a lemming train.

Yeah I googled the exact dates too, I just hoped you wouldn't notice:hiding: Anyway, I'm sure there might be some inspiration taken from the novel, but Punisher's design was mostly due to the fact that at that time some people were just really getting bored with the wishy washy do-good super brilliant all benevolent superheroes.

I got the book :)

It was the first proper "scary" movie I was "allowed" to see as a kid, saw Death Wish 3 when I was home alone sick from school one day, dad hade taped it to an VHS, since then it became one of my favorites :)
