I don't play arty enough, nor have enough time on my hands to compose anything like this...

But wouldn't it be nice for SPG players to know viable locations on city maps? Like, spots/quadrants where you have at least some firing arcs that aren't obstructed by lots of buildings and/or provide firing options on crucial chokepoints? Personally I'd find it very useful.

You can look at vBaddicts heat maps and choose to view a city map and select to see only SPGs and you will see where spg players are locating on that map.  It will give you some good ideas.  It will also give you ideas of where to look for tracers when playing counter arty.

No, just tedious, predictable and boring. Rather juvenile and ill-educated in the ways of the game, too.

You got more than 2400 battles with arty yourself. (which with roughly 22000 matches in total is quite a chunk and way beyond the flimsy 'only play arty for missions' excuse)

Actually, your most played vehicle is also an arty.

Hypocrite much or just dumb trolling?

Only Bombardier mission for Object 260 took me around 500 battles with M53/M55 so yes... only for missions, when I did last mission SPG-15 I sold this crap out of my garage and said I will make good HTs for next blocking damage missions and won't touch this SPG junk no more. Playing it so often just convinced me that playing arty is just pure minigame and talking about needed skill for SPGs is making me laugh. So much skill to remember positions and to lead shots... pfff...

Playing arty actually takes an infinitely larger amount of skill compared to the level exhibited in your brilliant posts in this thread.  I am simply amazed at your word crafting skills.  You should provide you-tube tutorials.  I would definitely subscribe to your channel in hopes of learning from a true master.

Still not a convincing reason why an arty is your most played vehicle.

Plus while you used artillery yourself to get the most out of the personal missions you now try to talk the OP out of using SPGs thus effectively denying him the right to do exactly what you did?

Hypocrite confirmed.

How to arty:

1) Press Shift key.

2) Move your mouse.

3) Don't forget to breathe.

4) Left-click

5) Call it an outplay.

18 posts, the first two relevant, the next all from silly juvenile twits, and consequent replies to them.

@up

He had something else in mind. Quoting part of a sentence loses context.

He doesn't mean that playing arty "takes an infinitely larger amount of skill"

For me discussing in this topic doesn't make sense because I'm hypocrite who played arty so much and now is talking that this type of "tanks" needs another global rebalance (removing from WoT)

My reply meant exactly what it said, and nothing more.  If you think it meant anymore, then you are simply "Trumping" it up in your mind.  Question, how difficult is it to play this game with such small hands?

Your post implied that it requires ANY skill to play arty, which is laughable.
