loser is still loser I guess - depends how you mean by "worst on the winning team" too - if you mean zero damage, did nothing all game but got a win, then I'd reverse my decision, but a good team effort and me weighing in with a good effort, but still ending up lowest, I'd settle for that

Best on the losing team,

Seen plenty of battles where the best player is actually on the losing team,

just because you are on the losing team does not mean you are crap,

plenty of people on winning teams do 0 damage.

I'd rather be the best on the losing team, because I have 0 control over how badly the team will play, but if atleast me myself play well, I atleast increase the possibilities of a victory.

I don't get why people rather lose then win...

I much prefer winning while doing 0 damage then losing while doing 10k damage.

Nah, bottom om the winning team means you did nothing, you went in, you died, or you camped and did nothing. How is that fun in any way?

Its fun to outplay the enemy, do lots of dmg. If you are bottom you wont do any of that.

I play this game to kick [edited], not to do nothing all game.

I play this game to win, no matter how that win is made.

And winning is fun. Losing is boring.

If the winning move is going back to reset base in my slow heavy knowing I will only get 1 shot in in that game because I was to slow to get to the front. I would do it every time.

Even if I could go forward and get a few k damage in.

Worst on the winning team meant I didn't do anything, best on the losing team can mean various things but more often than not it's the one that sat in the back and only farmed the beaten up enemies that came at him in the end, so for me it's neither.

I'd rather be among the best of the winning team or among the better but not the best in the losing team.

I'm both actually, even though I don't  camp unless i'm in a paper TD.

I'm on top when I can actually get into the battle, for example in slow tanks like Churchill GC, or 110 where I start to use a shoot-retreat-shoot-retreat-get a§§raped tactic when I see my team is hopelessly getting steamrolled :D

I guess it's extremely situational - sometimes, like in life, you have to admit that the better man or team won

As long as I know that I did my best, I guess that's the most you can hope for!

Best on a loss just so I can laugh at how high I came on the score screen over most if not all of my team and the enemy team combined

Best on losing team ofc. I hate when I am in slow as* tank and fail to do anything because my team sweeps enemy team away before I could do anything.

I actually love slow tanks, even with bad armor. I rush too much and I'm so anxious to get into battle, that I make risky maneuvres, that either get me a large reward and a top spot, or I get one-shotted.

Slow tanks keep that at bay.

Being bad on the winning team doesn't change the fact that you did very little or nothing at all to contribute to the victory ;ie player (s) carried you despite your dead weight forcing your team to be down a man.
Although exceptions to this fact  do happen.

Being the best on your loosing team means you had the biggest impact on the match, the fact that it was not enough to win the match is irrelevant, it just means the victor's out played your team as a whole.

Victory's or losses are never due to just 1 player in a team game when you have 14 other players to help battle the 15 your up against.

Best on the losing team.

I obviously prefer winning over losing, but a win you contributed nothing to feels really cheap, and the game tends to agree giving you little rewards for that. As the top player on the losing team I at least know that I left my mark on the game and earned a solid performance.

Or that you stayed back and farmed damage when battle was already lost.

Worst on the winning team:  It is much more rare than the other answer, my performance is adequate and they all do better I'd call that a great team, and I've been one shot in the first 2 minutes of the game before.....left to garage....find out we won....felt a lot better than having 10 players do zero damage and a loss after.
