Just giving a heads up to a new series started by DezGamez

Mostly doing this because of a garage mod he showcases "Tornado battle hits" this lets you cycle through all the hits you made and received.

You get a close up of exactly where the shell hit and whether it penetrated or bounced.

Think this might be of interest to a number of players

Thanks to DezGamez and the modders who came up with these.

lel....

losing a game 2 to 15...sounds familiar.

Iirc Aslains also has a battle hit viewer. I didn't try it out so i don't know if it's the same or has the list on the left.

I think it's not a bad tool for the aspiring unicum.

I've been looking at that mod in the past a tiny bit, I assume it draws the info from the replay file and not "records" it in some other way. That I guess would mean that the actual shell trajectory and impact point shown by it is what was calculated on the server and not what was displayed during the battle and rendered by the client?

Just watched the video and saw the link to the mod, 89mb? lol

It's like 34mb standalone so no idea what else is packed with that.

A way of testing it is by screen capturing a game you play and comparing it with the mod that uses a replay to see if there is a difference in recording accuracy.

Tornado battle hits would be a nice next feature is recorded battle is turned on.

And Hanger Manager would be a nice premium garage update

True, especially if you force a "bad connection" so to speak, but I assumed there was some info on what info the mod actually used somewhere, been to lazy to check though since even if I find the mod kinda cool I don't see much use for it for my self.

Unless you know how to open the single file,  you might not know how it does stuff cause it's just simply

poliroid.battlehits_1.1.7.wotmod

Well yes I can reserve engineer the mod to find out what it does in detail, but I'm also not 100% sure what's recorded in the replay file I assume it draws info from, is it what happened on the server or is it your actual experience in the battle, since those can be quite different due to latency and packet-loss.
