Every battle in the past 10 days in Tier 8, trying to grind some damn credits

OK, so not only every game is Tier 10, i also have to carry these window lickers, and on top of that, i make 17,000 credits? for busting my [edited]off vs Tier 9 and 10 enemies?

I was thinking of getting premium time, but nah, not going to happen. May these morons give you money, i was foolish enough to even give you money for this tier 8 premium tank, that doesn't even make money anymore.

What's wrong with playing TB/SH if you can't manage randoms?

What's wrong with over 17.5k of credits from a defeat? 6k consumables? You did 2.5k damage. That's probably about right no?

Edit- with a standard account I mean. With a premium account you're income is another 50% which would be about another 20k so you would have made about 37.5- 38k credits but even 6 horrible losses like that with a standard bags you around 100k and you're probably going to have better battles so... not bad?

It feels low for the amount of effort required. I can do 15k easy with a tier 5 medium....

You're a TD. So I suspect you play 2nd line support. When you do that, that's 50% of the credits gone pr damage point on most of your damage. Regardless how much you "carry". That and it's a loss. So even less bonus to be had.

CDA 105 is the same. 4K damage in a tier X game in a support role, and you barely make 100K on a win vs most tier 8 non TD prems, that do more on their own spotting. Tho that farms assist rather well to. So it usually works out. You hardly had any assist on that game. So less credit to farm.

I thought the term "carry" only applies when you win? As in you carried the team to victory

I rarely play 2nd line support, hence the 60%+ winrate, i'm always trying to carry my goons. It usually works, but it has been going terrible ever since the Christmas event ended. Winrate dropped from 66 to 63%, which is significant when you have 300+ battles in a tank

+ i have 447m VR and this tank has horrible gun handling, so 2nd line support is out of question.

Isn't it weird that you have a 52% winrate in that tank the last 7 days? If your team is full of window lickers that can't deal damage it seems would've earned a lot more credits on those wins to compensate for the losses.

It's pretty funny how you say it doesn't make money anymore while still earning more than 17k on a defeat ^^

you think 17k on a defeat is good? You know how many games like that will take you to earn 2.5 million for a tier 8 tank?

Why ask that? are you planning to lose ever battle? If that's the worst profit margin it ain't bad. Most tier8 tanks that lose end up costing them credits. Even many tier8 tanks that have a good battle and win end up losing credits with their terrible standard AP forcing the 2 key usage. That profit for a defeat and 2.5k dmg is pretty good. It's not like your losing every battle right? Why don't you show us the profit results from a solid win with 3.5k+ damage? :)

Yes, it's as simple as 2500000/17000=147 battles. You're welcome.

But what does that have to do with anything? Because on top of those 2,5 millions for a tier 8 tank you should have earned north of 5 millions on the wins.

Surely you know that the WoT economy has nothing to do with effort. It's going to be pegged to entice the most active players it can to spend cash to fund their gameplay at higher tiers.

For every one of you there's lots more mediocre players who buy premium time to even make what you made, and then probably some more who actually buy credits.

Wargaming just spent the Xmas period in effect printing money. For active players they've had the Xmas period throwing credits into their accounts at rates they never achieved over the rest of the year. When a bank prints money you get inflation as the credits you used to have are now not worth as much as they used to be,

What I mean by this is that you think you should have got more for that game. What you don't know is how many of the enemy team fired premium rounds because they are literally awash with credits. Wargaming have devalued credits in the short term because now most active players should have more than they usually have.

You're maybe not measuring your efficiency against the current economy where many more players can afford things that previously were out of their reach on a regular basis.

This might stablise soon but I suspect that Wargaming might want to give the game an adrenaline shot of players ;prior to 2.0 hitting us in a couple of months.

hmm thinking. New player gets honoured to see the BEST EVER WG offer over xmas when he just starts then whines about income post BEST EVER offer.

dude really?

firstly tier 8 is full of tier 10s at the moment = gold spam.

secondly you are in a TD which is dependant on your team to spot most of the time or death will surely follow

thirdly if it is far easier to make 15k on a tier 5 then go do that

The game  economy is like that to make you want to buy premium time and/or vehicles.  That is all you need to know.

I don't get how someone can get to tier IX and not understand this simple fact.
