Is it me or is the average SuperHeavy player a miserable player?

Yeah tell me.

I see it more and more than a bunch of superheavies meet a single, even lower tiered tank and their reaction is to instantly stop and dig in... instead of moving forward and using their armor and HP.

I mean do these people not realize that its THEIR job to contest and fight for the keypositions, also its their job to support the fast tanks taking the early positions and then take of from there....

It REALLY annoys me to see how pathetic they play. They dont even do the slightest bid of their job. And on top they are flaming their teams.

Seen it multiple time. It's a dishonor to our whole class.

If I'm in the first line with my KV-4, I can't understand people with a maus hiding behind me...

I guess the stupidity of the tank resembles the players as well

Really Wunder, what do you expect?

I'm surprised you've posted this as it hasn't changed over the years. Random bobs don't understand pushing into low health enemies and perhaps using a little bit of HP to win the flank. You see it every game and it will never change. I guess you are salty about a game you had today

I am pretty crap at heavies but have just unlocked the tier 8 VK...P.

It's the first "armored" behemoth Ive played so I'm kinda learning the whole angling thing, but its obvious even to me to hide the LFP and Cupola and present the crappiest angle to the enemy - do people not learn from all the shots THEY try against other tanks?

You see superheavy? Maybe we are playing different games.

But if you consider the Is7 a superheavy ... ok.

And if the discussion is "patheticness and wot", well, it's everywhere, on every tank at every tier. ^^

This. And if you pay more attention, it doesn't really matter what tank they play. Like you've never seen badgers hiding behind Tier 8's?

It's not even about stats, I've seen a lot of orange/yellow players that know how to push really well.

The few late threads about super heavies sums it up quite  nicely. "What's the point of super heavies, everyone's gonna shoot gold at them anyway, bwaa bwaa!!!"

Usually when I play, my unarmoured tank is at the front line while my higher tiered armored tanks hide behind.

Maybe they just over extended sometimes and got perma stun by arties and perma track by invisible tds, or taken by meds while their team just waited far in their back, or trampled the other side.

It could have calmed their suicidal tendencies ...

Says the guy who camped his WZ 111-5A behind a rock for a good 5 minutes before moving. Yeah i guess tanking shots was the mediums job then right???

Serene coast about the time the WZ was added to the tech tree.

I never forgot that battle but i was trying to find good reasons for that and then you make a thread like that!

You would almost think that it does actually take skill to play superheavies well... but no. That would be blasphemy. Just hop in and drive in circles and watch your win rate improve.....

Seriously, though, the fast tanks usually do not 'take early positions.' They overextend into the enemy and die before anyone (let alone a MUCH slower superheavy) gets there to support anyone. And if the superheavy does advance, they more than likely do so alone, and since their flanks are not covered and they are likely facing higher tier guns that can even pen them frontally with little problem, they just die uselessly alone.... followed by everyone else who for some reason decided to wait advancing.

With good teamwork, then yeah, easy to see how they could be a problem..... but good teamwork is seldom seen.

Well...i wasn't driving a superheavy tank...just a HTC but i'd say if more than 2 players just stand in front of you plinking your front armor for over 3k....who is more stupid?

Difference between a random potato in a random craptank and a random potato in a superheavy tank is that the random potato in a superheavy tank is crucial at certain positions and is almost unbeatable.
