to be exact:
derp kv -> löwe(side) 54% damage
m4 derp -> tiger(front) 15-20% damage
if you want to show anything have at least *some* identical test parameters

Wasn't commenting on your use of shortened forms, but your placement of 'have'.
KV 152 damage on KT front with new calculation: 910/2-150*1,3: 260.
Used to be 300-400.

These posts and polls are pointless.
Wargaming implements stuff for specific reasons. It doesn't really matter if this happens because they want to milk ppl for gold or because they genuinely felt the previous HE system was flawed. It is done. It won't be undone. Classic response to any complaint is "It is working as intended". Even the PzIV turning bug was "working as intended" until the latest patch "corrected the rare bug with the PzIV turning radius". The radius which was "working as intended". It doesn't matter if it actually is working as intended or if it is flawed and everyone can see it but WG doesn't want to admit so. Waste of time trying to express your opinions using arguments and polls. You think I'm exaggerating? What has the WoT community whined about most about since the neolithic age? Matchmaking and spotting. What has been done up to now to improve these 2 issues? A little tweak on the MM (which had no appreciable difference for me but it could just be me) and nothing about the spotting. Instead WG gave us "birds on the trees" in the latest patch. All my gripes with the game are over because of that important improvement.
What I'm trying to say here is that threads of this type have no result. WG is going to do what WG is going to do n not give a frag about your polls, opinions and arguments. Only things that a thread like this accomplishes is letting some people vent and some other people troll and sport the classic "gtfo n00b,l2p" line, which is so old it's not even funny. Because excuse me but I don't consider people that suggest that you can flank with the SU-152 or aim with the 0.48 accuracy HE gun of the M4 as anything else but trolls. The same goes for people that say that it's normal for a T-50 to bounce an 152mm HE shot. You know what a frigging HE shot is? It's a shot that explodes on impact. If it bounced, it means it impacted. If it impacted, it means it exploded. If it exploded, something will have been damaged. So a HE shot "bouncing" and causing no damage is high nigh the most ridiculous concept there is. It could be absorbed by the armour if it was thick enough, true. But clearly that is not the case with the T-50's 37mm of armour so quite simply, THIS SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED. Frankly, a hit on a tank with the size and (lack of) armor of the T-50 by an 152mm HE round should disintegrate it on the spot just due to the force of the shockwave. So all these realism arguments are pretty ridiculous. After all, it's not like the game is a hardcore simulator. Realism is (very) often bent for the sake of fun. Which is normal and I fully accept it. But pls don't tell me that it was unrealistic that a HE gun could take out a healthy chunk of hp pre-0.7.0 and it's now realistic that you can have incidents like bouncing a HE shot on an almost unarmored tank. Even if the previous system was flawed (which I don't think it was), it's still flawed now, just in a different way. A way that renders a number of tanks much less fun to play. So you will excuse me for preferring the flawed but fun system over the flawed but atrocious system.
If you want to make a statement about the quality of the game changes, stop paying for premium, stop playing the game altogether, don't buy premium shells/tanks or in general follow a course of action that makes WG bleed money. By creating polls, expressing civilized opinions and trying to sway their and their fanboys' opinions in a normal way, you accomplish one fat zero. Everything is "working as intended" and "l2p n00bs". OT: I have had 5 bounces with the top GW Panther gun on heavily armoured opponents.
The sincerely stupidest thing was this:
Load AP: Shoot IS4 drivers hatch. Ding!
Load HE: Shoot IS4 in turret. 0%
Load HE: Shoot IS4 on side. 1%
Load HE: Shoot IS7 on pike. 0%
This was with the BL9 on the IS3.

Paddy Eos my friend, I am surprised to see you caring so much about HE since I still remember you saying to the newer clan members "When you know where to shoot each tank, you will never need anything but standard AP".
What you said back then was true, I have had so many seemingly impossible penetrations, I really wonder why people still bother with HE. I have always thought of HE spam as noob resort for people who auto-aim.
Yes SU-152 is a special case and I have it myself with the stock gun. I found HE shells doing just fine, all you have to do is aim at targets that are busy with your team mates and turn their side to you, use a cynical approach by disengaging, retreating and selecting a different target. Random battles are so chaotic, that there are always som lonely stragglers to finish off.

I think that the damage from HE get reduced is good. especially, if you not penetrade with it, Why you should have a miracleammo???
otherwise noone would drive slow big tanks anymore, that are these who you can hit easily with HE-guns and all others easy too,
best example is the MAUS, all just go for the fast stuff
for example, the KV152 makes ~250 damage against T9, even on front, 300+ from not perfect angeled side (were your 107mm wouldn´t penetrate)
is this not enought against strongestarmored stuff, that weights (MM-weight) 5 times more than you
and if just much stronger waits for you, you have to be smarter than these heavy stuff, so AP on side/rear is the solution, that your team should drive,
