I'm relatively new to the Chaffee but I noticed something really weird with the Gun handling: about midway during the vertical elevation the gun has a "step" movement.

Try it: set a 16X zoom and slowly raise the gun aiming from below; about in the middle, suddendly, the gun goes down and then back up by a small measure; after that then it moves steadly upwards without discontinuities.

Is it a well know handling of the Chaffee? I tryed googling but nothing relevan came up :amazed:

I suspect that when you tried this you tried it vs "nothing" and not a tank thus you most likely ran into this:

Almost, it could be but I'm not sure. It doesn't happen with the other tanks I have or at least, never noticed until now. I found it clearly happens also in the VK 30.01 (H), the heavy Tier V with the Waffe gun, I'm aiming over a ridge slowly adjusting my aim upwards and the marker suddendly jumps down-up.

It happens also if I'm hovering the aim point over a tank and follow it, I can't fine tune the shot because for some elevations the aim is no more linear; just were I'm aiming in the middle it suddenly jumps :(

I'll try some more.

Hey, I'm back - it's exaclty that, you were 100% correct, thanks! :great: It happened because the tanks were on the crest of a hill up-down and I was pointing sometimes at the ground, but then at the air above.. now I'm trying to keep the aim above the crest line.
