Why has WG not brought in any kind of discount to people actually spending money?

Why do i still have to pay 300 (150 on discount) for a garage slot when I own 190+? Is there no sliding scale to atleast make it cheaper as you purchase?

Equiping so many tanks also takes time and is expensive. Why no sliding scale discount on tanks in the garage? R1- R1.5mil equipment per tank with the current lack of cash missions is a major pain.

Really think WG need to get an actual marketing team with a little bit of marketing background.

What would you like to see on a discount scale?

You buy garage slots?

Can't remember the last time I did that, currently sat with 15 empty (or is it 16, I lose track).

I have plenty aswell.

Back in 2011 or 2012, cant remember, there was a bonuscode which you could use over and over again.

Gave you a garage slot. Never bought any since

I heard the marketing guy who came up with that idea is finally getting use to Siberia, but only since he found a way to make vodka from reindeer droppings.

It was a code by some German gaming magazine IIRC. Those were the good days xD

*Collectors*
When you grow old and give up on "padding" with only current meta tanks you start appreciating occasional round in a tank that no one plays or you yourself played back many years ago. There is nothing better than to roll out in your old M3Lee and kill everyone on your path just because you just can. When someone in your clan starts ranting "tank" is bad and impossible to play you just pick that tank and prove them wrong... When your friend is grinding a tank line you just support him with any tank from that line just to help and teach him how to play that specific tank.
There are many reasons why own tanks. I'm currently around 240+ tanks in garage. Its the way many players chose to play the game, not everyone has to go along with current meta game and instantly sell half their garage each time a tank is nerfed.

Lohend

They have: buy gold or premium time in larger quantities and you pay less per unit. Buy the more expensive bundles and get more "free" stuff with it.

You're just not getting any discounts for old purchases, and that's pretty much the way it's handled everywhere else, so why should WG do it?

Why should it matter how many slots you have?

Then buy equipment when it's on sale. Buy tanks when they're on sale. Buy consumables when they're on sale. Most of the things in WoT you never have to buy at full price unless you want to. I managed to buy and equip half a dozen T10 tanks last month, and that's while playing CW campaign as well which isn't exactly known for being cost-effective. All it takes is a little bit of planning, not rocket science.

Would have voted no but the option was not there so I didn't vote.. It's a meh idea that will never be implemented as it will reduce the income as I don't think that it will amount in more sales...

Terrible poll for lack of a proper "no".

Somehow this makes me think of economics. I can understand why I'd be able to negotiate a discount for buying something in bulk now. I'd be amazed if I'd got a discount for having bought something a lot back then. Also if anyone's holding out on purchasing garage slots, they're not like really spending money right now.

And of course everything is expensive. With intent. The more you want and the more you need, the more you'll have to click that battle button.

I'm sure the discounts will come. Might have to be patient, though.

I've not bought any slots but I have 65 empty ones that I would happily sell... I've been drowning on them because I purged all the tanks I disliked like 18 months ago and have been receiving them from weekend specials, personal missions, premium tanks, Christmas boxes, low tier gift tanks, marathons and whatnot.

Only 15-16? I didn't realize you were such a F2P peasant Homer.

Only because I can't bring myself to sell some tanks I got for free and never played.

Or even tanks I payed real money for and played once.
