With the missions for 250 bonds per day, and the EU prize pool I am assuming that after they have all gone (say 40 days) I may have 11-12k bonds. So this question is to the "high" skill players who have already bought improved equipment for bonds.

Which piece of equipment did you buy and why?

Which tank did you put it on and why?

Have you noticed a difference due to the improved equipment or is the improvement too small?

Your estimation is rather optimistic - we are already down by about 1/3 of the total amount of bonds, and we haven't seen a weekend yet. It might be more like 10 days total, +/- a day or two. So it's more like 2-3k bonds that you will get from the event, if you complete all daily missions.

I don't think it will make any difference. Using premium food is much more p2w and gives a much better bonus than improved equipment and no one seems to upset about that either.

@mods. Please stick this topic.

I will have sufficient bonds for 1 piece of equipment in 2020, but I'm afraid this thread will be gone by then. :P

40days? lol....it started 4 days ago and already ~1/3 of the bonds are gone. Considering that it's Friday "morning", I would guess that the event will be over by the end of the next week.

I'm not a high skill player, but I will tell you what I will do with my bonds: nothing, at the moment

For now you can use bonds to get improved equipment, directives and if you are a clan player special vehicles for the Operation Gambit campaign, so there are already several ways to use them. We are working on other ways to use bonds in the future, but unfortunately i can't share more about this at this point since our plans are not finalized yet.  Actually, I realized that we shared this information at WGfest about this: we’re considering making customization items and vehicles available with Bonds and plan to add even more ways to acquire this new currency in 2018.

Sure, the multiplier will be x30 :)

I don't consider the one (or two) pieces of improved equipment worth spending all my bonds right now, so I wait :)

The difference between standard and improved is tiny, gun rammer standard equipment -10%, improved give you an additional -2.5%. Tried it on a TD, think it was an Object 268, difference was 0.2 second.

As has been quoted food or vents work better. Only time I would fit is where I can't use vents.

I have like 10.5k bonds and not using 'em on anything. Doesn't make sense to buy improved equipment in my opinion. I'm not a min/max type of guy.

The effect of improved equipment is barely noticeable.

Biggest difference of any bonded kit  I've seen is the 40% repair boost toolkit.  Much bigger than 25% standard bag of spanners.

I bought an improvent vent, which gives +2% and not +2,5% as the tooltip says. That 0,5% is rounded down, for some reason.

That extra +2% can not be noticed AT ALL. But I use food on my tanks anyways, food seems to be too overpowered not to be used.

These improved equipment do not worth 5k bonds in my oppinion.

Bonds are not p2w. Not at all. Nothing of it has even an ounce of p2w.

I have maybe 600 bonds atm, haven't played during this event at all (should probably try and get some today...) but I'm not getting any of those equipment either so I guess what I'm eventually going to start spending bonds on is the single battle directives. Use them to ease some horrible grinds or push something up just a little for a 3-marking try or something.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Damn, not only was my concept ninjaed, he did it better than me! (See above)

I opened the thread with high hopes that they would be adding super special spy equipment as an option for tanks.

Now I must find a way to handle my dissapointment....

If it's not this one, it's not worth the bonds.

Most likely a lot more will indeed be gone; it's not a mission you even have to turn on, and is very likely to be completed by a literal bot if enough games are played.

Ph3lan's post is interesting. Can only assume how much a tank would cost, though. Guess one might as well wait and see if they plan discounts or something... would make sense to deplete people's 'bond banks' a bit before introducing a new feature (and new ways to earn it).

Basicly this at this point. Am at 4600 bonds now but keeping them at least till it is known if and what tanks we can buy with them. Since bonds are kinda hard to get it hope and kinda expect it will be special/reward tanks we can buy.

Don't the bond missions end on 29th January?

They're only there for a week.

EDIT, I read it wrong, its 29th jan 2019 it goes to. My bad.
