Ok explanation,

 

I think maps should be added to MM,

certain tanks do well on certain maps and are useless on others so i think maps should be taken into consideration on MM,

I KNOW I KNOW they can't sort out the current MM without adding more to it but IF they could sort it out what do you think,

 

i was thinking along the lines of all tanks still getting the random map rotation but an extra element added where,

arty, turretless td's and scouts would get preferential open area maps,

and super heavies and other heavies under a certain speed getting preferential city maps,

fixed gun td's under a certain speed would get the option to turn of the new preferential map MM as they are not really suited to either map type,

(left out corridor maps as there is only 1 true corridor map).

The founding principle of random MM is that it's random. You take the rough with the smooth, and WG now admit that PMM tanks are a mistake.

 

This is preferential Map making and would just generate even more of a skewed MM along with the complaints of always meeting Type 5's on Dorf. 

 

If you're good you'll make a tank work on any map, even if some are tougher than others.

I couldn't possibly imagine anything more fun than Prokhorovka with 3 arties, 7 TDS, 3 LTs, 1 medium and 1 heavy per team. The gameplay would be super dynamic and fun.

The only thing that needs to happen with maps is for every removed map to be put back in. All of them. Even Prok and Mali assault.

OP: take a nice, long, deep breath; and take a moment to ponder why the thing you suggested is a bad idea.

 

Arta + Casemate TDs getting Prokh more often? They will wank bush/redline even harder for fear of getting spotted and focus-fired by said TDs and Arta.

HTs getting mostly city maps? Those with a derp will dominate even harder, as will those who load mostly HEAT.

 

The challenge of gitting gud is the ability to adapt to the various maps.

The three open maps in the game are very fun to play with 1-2 light tanks. With 5-6 light tanks (and always 3 arties), they wouldn't be fun to play anymore. At all.

It took me just 5 seconds to realize that your idea is very bad.

I think being able to select a number of maps you don't want to play would be a good idea. Seeing as some maps are just completely unsuited for certain types of tanks. Like Himmeldorf is a disaster for spgs & lights that have no room to function as a light. Had an all Tier x game not that long ago, 3 SPG's & 4 lights on Himmeldorf mixed in with type 5's & so forth. 

Some maps I excel at playing & some maps are just shocking. With the range of tanks & the number of people playing those types of tanks. I think maps need to be made bigger or removed.
