I've had ghost shells before but never one as clear cut as this!

Fired at the rear of a T10 from maybe 50' and absolutely nothing, no "that one bounced or we didn't even scratch etc" just no result at all.

Screenshot attached (and it didn't hit the post to the left of the POA)

Why didn't you show a screenshot with the flying shell?
Since the one you linked is entirely useless... replay?

Try with a replay... There's nothing useful to see in this screen shot. For all we know you simply missed, as the aim circle is not fully filled with T-10 dupka.

maybe we cant see the shell flying because it really is a ghost?  i've heard children and animals sometimes see things others cant, might explain it :hiding:

Does it really matter if they have a replay. It’s not as though ghost shells aren’t a know problem.

The do happen although in my experience it’s very rare. Of course the worse your internet connection the more likely you are to see them.

It isn't a real ghost shell, just Patrick Swayze playing the part of one.....

The screenshot doesn't show a ghostshell.

That is correct, perhaps I should have titled it "how was it possible for this shot to miss / do nothing".  Flight time for the shell at 50' was @0.016 seconds, both the T10 and I were stationary and I thought it was fully aimed yet nothing happened upon firing. One of those things I guess.

True enough, but the replay at least would show us something. A screen shot absent of any trajectory/projectile really does not provide anything useful. I suppose it truly was a ghost shell; there's no signs of it ever having been fired.
