One simple question for wargaming: When you are going to forbid usage of illegal mods, but for real. Your ban waves are usless, stupid and funny (you bann like 0,0000000000001 % of players that are using cheats). This game is becoming unplayable because of huge masses of players that are using all kinds of illegal mods. I belive thet every player below average in skillswise  is using mods that are 'going to help them to become better players'. There is that aim helping mods (aim bot cheats), destruction detections on minimap, reload timers and so on.... They are so easy to find and install, and you do nothing. I can tell you if don't do something about it very soon you are going to lose a lot of good players because of that. And all this is not some theory. I can support this by many replays like any many other players, how bad players are suddenly becoming so aware of situations, and not missing weak points. But maybe u want just the opposite, help this easy to play game become even more easier, so many many noobs will enjoy and populate this game even more,  still they are your best money makers.

lol :D

...but on topic... wg won't tell us anything about how many or not ... all under the 'name and shame' excuse... so we really can't tell besides taking guesses if you can be bothered checking out number of downloads of modpacks from less reputable places.

Best thing to do is play vanilla and perhaps drink a lill bit :)

I'm not claiming the game is unplayable or the forum is unusable.

If OP's assertion is correct then his battle count won't go up.

Ah, don't hate the game just because you fell out of love with it.  Just move on.  I've been playing a bunch and I don't share the same feelings regarding "illegal mods"... sorry, I think you are just placing blame on an easy target.  Let's just say "goodbye" and leave it at that.  90364.

I know, just find the xxxxx battle count a bad argument.

Now don't get me wrong. I'm not saying anyone you have faced are not cheating. But I doubt it's as many as you think going by what you wrote.

The mods you pointed out are not easy to detect or prove with a replay. So no point showing it. As all that will show is you got out played, not how. As the only way to see if he cheated is to see his replay, not yours. And the only mod that sicks then is aim bots due to how the aim works. The other mods you listed won't show anything even then. As for all we know, he counts shots on your clip and rushes you when your clip is empty for the next 25 seconds. Or has eagle eye so he knows you are ammo racked and knows you have a longer reload time. Is he cheating to because he backed off at the right time because his crew skill told him? Or that you drove over a fence flanking, but he had a 50/50 chance on guessing what side you came from, and guessed right and killed you when you got spotted. That's 100% cheat to every time? It's only not a cheat if he had the rear towards you and failed to predict it? And I suspect you think aim bots give 100% accuracy every time?

And going by what you wrote, you seem to think that everyone that hits you or can predict your moves are 100% cheating. As no one has any weakspot knowledge, good at predicting or guessing on the obvious when you have not been spotted for a while, or knows how long your reload is, or how many rounds you have in your clip gun. If they know that. 100% cheat. That's all I read here. And it's more or less why, we don't have report a cheat function anymore in game.

So many cheats, so many mods, so many haxes.

Yet the playerbase isn`t improving. Last time I checked on wotlabs the average WN8 had gone down.

He hit me....must be haxes.

That's great. So maybe you'll be the first one to be able to actually prove the bold claims he lobs on the table. The 2843 people before you weren't able to do this. Sooo... can't wait for your replays. Ideally, it would be awesome if you could play 5 matches and whow us all the cheaters. Besides that, you also have to explain your claim about the spread of mods. How do you know how many players use them?

Are you really sure you want to leave? After all, with ~6 hours played every single day, WoT is one major part in your life. Do you have other activities to fill that massive hole?

Too many zeros dude, if you gonna rant, do it a little more realistic.

Haven't met a lot of the 'huge masses' myself. Only ever ONCE I noticed something. With my skill comes a fairly accurate judgement of other people's skill. Only he wasn't performing at 48% WR, but more like 60% WR... Then again, I let it slide, because it could be someone else (way better) playing his account. Perhaps he got lucky? Perhaps it was an aimbot? We can only guess..

Ehh, by 'good' you mean: Delusional baddies?

Nobody good will ever leave this game, because of other people using cheats, as they don't give that much of a benefit in this game. Cheats won't tell you how to position your tank or how to predict the minimap.

Good players will leave, because the game is so unbalanced as can be, even beyond what the normal 'powercreep' of games is.

Well there we go. Every rant about cheats and people that can support their claim never did support it.

Please post replays for us to see, so we can validate what you're saying.

Replays or bust. I can't stress this enough. Show me the proof you have.

Show us why or how you think mods were used in every replay posted. I promise to take an objective look and perhaps show you different perspectives.

then pls go ahead and show those replays which clearly show the use of cheats, and proof that huge masses of players are using them

you would be the first one.

It's much more likely that people aren't using illegal mods. I was dodging and weaving over hills in a Type 64 during -MM team battles last night and hit three times by a Patriot at long distance. My human reaction is to think "How the hell did he do that?" But then you forget all the shots who miss you, and someone, sometimes is going to have a good run of RNG. It's the same about MM. People whine about a run of bad teams.

I've no issue with any modpack where the author has done their best to keep the mods the right side of the FPP. I know some players feel XVM is cheating or that some current legal mods give an unfair advantage. Where I'm coming from is where someone has gone so far over the line that WG have banned them for illegal mods or botting (which is another way of cheating the system and ruining the game for everyone).

What I'd like to see Wargaming do is enhance their ban sanctions for cheaters. One week is not enough.

I'd either like to see a one month ban, or if they're going to go with a one week ban, then on top of that for the first month back playing the account should only get 50% XP/credits in comparison to standard earnings. Think of it as community payback.

Wargaming should also inform any cheater who are caught the first time that their account is now not getting dip sampled for cheats and that account should be moved to a permanent monitoring situation which receives enhanced scrutiny.

The only people cheaters are really cheating is themselves but then they never prosper in the long run. They either lose their account or lose the respect of the playerbase. They lost their own self-respect as soon as they installed the illegal mod.
