So guys i'm at 5k bonds and i'm pondering between the improved rammer - for that 2.5% raw DPM increase or improved vents - because unlike the other improved equipments they are 50% better than the standard.

What would you think its preferable? and why?

Thanks in advance :)

Easy...vents..you can put them on autoloaders as well...plus they boost everything not just 2.5% more dpm which is meaningless.

Best put them on a tank you're playing regularly in order to get most benefit, a premium moneymaker perhaps.

I put an improved rammer on my E3 a few months back, thinking that a 2.5% improvement on a 14s reload would be the best use. Fast forward to today and I'm rarely playing the tank and thus seeing zero benefit of the equipment.

So improved vents seems to be ATM the prefered option.

So what? He has a doubt and exposed it in the appropriate forum. The game is pretty complex too, y'know...

And his doubt might also be someone else's. Those "XXk comments"...

Already replied to someone with a similar request, here's my thought on them:

Due to the large investment needed to buy the improved equipment & the relative cheapness of the standard equipment (cheap compared to bonds that is), you best invest it in something that can give you a constant advantage.

With above in mind, Improved vents & Improved optics feel like the best investments for bond equipment.

- Improved Optics because being able to see further & negate camo better is always handy & it often comes down to meters when locating high camo targets. + second cheapest equipment (4K bonds instead of 5K)

- Improved Vents, due to the continuous general bonus to tank performance. Not a bonus that will save you every battle, but can be the little nudge to make your tank perform just that bit smoother over the long term. Main advantage is that it gives a small bonus to a large variety of tank stats. Also second largest relative bonus (5% to 7.5%)

Special note for the improved repairkit: while 40% track repair sounds awesome (and can be) it CANNOT be demounted like the regular repairkit & instead needs 200 bonds to unequip.

A case can be made for the improved Vstabs, because faster aiming is after all neat, but don't expect miracles (20% vs 25%), still slightly less exposure time & slightly better snapshotting abilities are a good thing.

Improved Rammer is imo not a good investment, standard is cheaper & the difference will be hardly noticeable with the improved one. Only something to invest in if you upgraded the other equipment pieces & really want to pimp out that tank.

Note: basic rammer  is a good investment, because 10% faster loading is a good thing & usually noticeable. the 2.5% bonus form the improved one is however not worth it compared to other equipment chocies that can be upgraded, simply because while faster shooting is nice, that extra 2.5% will hardly ever come into play compared to other choices (vstabs: continious better aiming, vents: continious better general bonus, optics: continuous better viewrange)

Not sure about improved binocs; but could be a handy thing to have on the swede TD's, boosting their viewrange in standstill modes (because they're not nightmarish enough to dig out for spotters am I right?) Or other tanks with a stationary lifestyle.

I will buy improved optics when I get on T-54 lightweight. Then I won't need view range skills and/or food to get up to 445m

improved rammer, vents etc are not worth it I think, unless you use it on an arty or other tank with long reload.

Mate you totally dont understand how vision works. There are VERY good reasons to go above 445m view range. With 445m vr the only thing you will spot at max view range are firing fv4005 and Jap Heavies. All else will have camo and some tanks you will spot at like 150-250m.

Don't spend them, save them all.

Improved equipment gives  nextto zero noticeable improvement. Save them for when they bring it more useful ways to spend them.

I would chose vents between those two. But don't expect to see much difference in the tank performance.

I would rather keep those bonds and see what new ways of spending them will WG introduce.

I just looked at this myself for my Rev and the reload / ROF was better with a standard rammer and Improved vents than simply replacing the rammer with an improved rammer. Not by much, 0.2 of a second but when the vents give you benefits in other areas as well like traverse, view range, camo etc its a no brainer. Had to give up the Vstab though.

So you've come to the right decision.
