Dear WG, if you think to do an intelligent step putting Hellcat always against tier VIII...well, you are very far from truth.

You just eliminate a fun-to-play tank by game.

Ask yourself why no more Hellcats played?.

Very stupid idea WG...very stupid idea!

It used to see tier 10's I believe? It's just not OP anymore, main reason it's not played as much is because tryhards can't pad their WNGay in it anymore.

It's a T6 tank & thanks to the great 7-5-3 template preferred by WG, it means you get alot more bottomtier now. Want less bottomtier games in a T6 tank? (or any tank that has 2 tier MM); advocate to see more toptiers in a single match, so you can enjoy more toptier games too.

Aka more variety in templates would help alot in solving the eternal bottomtier issue that plagues some tiers (mainly tier 6 & tier 8)

Because they nerfed it to the ground a few years back.

And it's not just the Hellcat, it's every T6 - thanks to the idiotic 7-5-3 MM template.

Hellcat is a very good TD even after the nerfs.

It was better before the nerf..no problems circling an IS3 and killing it..good old day.

Because the nerfed the mobility on it badly a few years ago. Not because it sees +2. As the gun is still capable of playing +2 in a support role. As there are only 3 of them. It did it just fine with the old MM when you faced 10 tier 8's in it.

It's almost as if previous full random MM was actually better, isn't it?

No, I'm not implying you were advocating addition of 3-5-7, just saying.

Hellcat is one of the tanks for whom being bottom tier ISN'T THAT BAD. So stop complaining. It's fine.

There are so many worse tanks, especially at Tier VI, to be driving in +2 Than the Hellcat. Good use of your camouflage and mobility, combined with adequate amounts of Gold, can make you quite a pest even to Tier VIIIs unless you're on a really bad map (a la, Stalingrad or Kharkov). Even in the worst match-ups, the Hellcat is still better off than tanks like the Type 58, Jagdpanzer IV, the list goes on.

Well, on the EU servers, the Hellcat is the most played Tier 6 TD by a long way. And its the 2nd most played T6 vehicle. So ask yourself, where did you get your information from?

Stupid post OP....very stupid post.

Still a good tank, stop whining.

Edit: Oh I see, you have 38% WR with it, that is awful, truly terrible, git gud.

Look, I get that you have a lot of statistical evidence to back up your claim that hellcat gets way worse matchmaking than other tier 6 tds, you can stop flooding us with these replays, analises and calculations, calm

Its a good decent tank, I just suck badly at it. And not just the Hellcat I underperform in - all (US turreted) TDs I suck at. Need to watch more yt vids how to play these things...

Same treatment as all tanks between T5 and T8. Rarely top tier, almost never. See 2 tiered higher tanks in like 40% of the battles.
All thanks to WGS new flawless and highly liked template MM system.

MM suck hair donkey arse except for tier 9.. Nothing special with the Hellcatt in that regard.. and Hellcat is is still Ok-ish, Only problem with the Hellcat nerfs I had was with the reverse speed.  TD needs reverse speed but in WG infinite most TDs got crap reverse speed.

Hellcat can still hold its own against T8 - remember even of you have to launch the occasional "premium" shell down range at a T8 tank it's no biggie, as long as you hit and pen you'll still make a profit on that shell (shooting and damaging a +2 opponent has better credit multiplier).

The main issue vs t8 is that they will have better view range than the tier 5,6,7 that you'd prefer to meet.  Just change the way you play, assume that you'll always meet T8 and gear up for it - also learn the camo/bushwork mechanics and exploit them.

Look on the bright side it's not the IKV 65 Alt II which as great camo, like the Hellcat, great 90mm gun, like the Hellcat, great mobility, like the Hellcat but crappy gun traverse so that every time you move to re target you lose binos and camo net.
