Many WoT players and bloggers from the Russian server are increasingly convinced that in WoT exist the hidden mode, called "Kislogo's patent" was named by owner of WG company Viktor Kislyj , this mode appeared from update 9.18.

What does this mode actually do ?

A tank with a small amount of hp (one shot for kill) it becomes much harder to penetrate in 20-25% than a tank with hp with words: "critical hit" ,"we didn't penetrate their armor" or so on..

Of course the company denies that WoT have this mode, but the facts remains, probably each of us faced such a problem.

Personally, this happened to me if not every day, but every third for sure.

What do you think about it ?

Considering this tinfoil theory about "noob protection" on low HP tanks has been around since before 9.18... I doubt it.

And every third day bouncing a shot on low HP is not a convincing theory for a new mode tbh.  As if it is there. It's not working for me. As my 122-54 has been killed on every one shot kill shot he has gotten sent his way the past 2 weeks. As when a HT does it? Well if he only bounced that one shot. Maybe. But when my T-10 takes a few on the turret at full HP. And bounces one on low. It's not a sign either tbh.

I think that if you really believe that, you should probably stick to using crayons for your colouring in because they're usually non-toxic and that's important when you eat them.

Oh, now you say that, I'm totally convinced. Pass the tinfoil, I need to make a hat.

Correlation does not imply causation. The only way you're going to be able to support these claims is by providing thousands of replays showing such shots where the shot cannot be explained away as bad marksmanship or RNG or whatever else.

Before you start collecting replays, however, ask yourself why would WG implement such an algorithm? What would they have to gain from it? You might say, "because the weaker player is encouraged to play more battles" but why would they risk alienating the stronger player, the one who's likely to be far more engaged with the game and probably buys premium time and tanks more often? If you still think it's happening regardless, exactly how stupid would you have to be to continue playing a game that's so clearly biased against you?

And that's before you consider all those last-gasp bounces and saves that save you. Is that this patent in action too? Do you have so little skill that you need this imaginary patent to provide you with the chance to perform some last-moment heroics?

You do not need to put it on, this is game design basics and the vid should be an eye opener for some.

I already wondered if and how such things were implemented into a competetive multiplayer game.

Dont know what happend in the replay, seems like a lag issue.

Often you will bounce a target that would be an easy one shot, I have seen the term "Mercy roll" but on the other hand when your own tank is also one shot RNG will let you live for 1 more shot..

This has indeed been proved true, including life on this planet.

It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination.

Main cause of low HP protection is rather simple imo:

- One: People stop aiming, to score that kill before the next guy, so you end up with that oneshot guy living longer then expected, because shots miss, go into tracks or simply bounce.

- Two: low HP tanks generally do alot more effort in avoiding being hit/damaged, simply because one shot will take you out, so yes they become harder to kill.

To illustrate (this was from before patch 9.18)

Yes multiple tanks shooting me, so had to drive back & forth & wiggle & angle to maximize my survival chances. Banking on the reasoning they didn't fully aim, but rather wanted to get my kill before the next guy could.

Aim people, even if it's a oneshot. Especially for armored tanks.

Pass the message on for us.  Making an account on the RU forum, learning Russian, playing enough games to post there is too much work.
