So here we are, the second part (feel free to check out my part 1). In this post I will propose a full tech tree, in contrast to the mini branch I proposed in the first part. So instead of stopping at tier 5, it continues all the way to tier 10, so we start with:

Tier 6: AMX Tracteur C '39

 arl 39.jpg

Stats:

Weight: 140 tons

Hull: 100/100/100

Turret: 100/?/? (presumably 100 all-around as well)

Armament: 105 mm main , 47 mm secondary gun

Speed: 20 km/h

Balancing: unreliable armor, turrets can't turn 360 degrees

Tier 7: ARL Tracteur C

ARL_Tracteur_C40.png

Stats:

Weight: 145 tons

Hull: 120/120/120

Turret: 120/?/? (it was 120 all-around most likely as well)

Armament: 90 mm

Speed: 25 km/h

Balancing: lackluster gun, bad p/w ration, weak armour

And now we delve into the world of description tanks, for which I (obviously) don't have any visual representations, so I'll do my best to describe them.

Tier 8: Char de Forteresse

description: basically a FCM F1 with a 155 mm howitzer on the hull.

Stats:

Weight: 100 tons

Hull: 120/120/120

Turret: 120/120/120

Armament: 90 mm turret gun, 155 mm hull gun

Speed: about 30 km/h, consider it's a bit less powerful but 40 tons lighter than FCM F1.

Balancing: weak armour, would be forced to act like a TD to use the main 155 mm gun, low-caliber turret gun

Tier 9: SEAM 220t

Description: a tank 12 meters long and 5 meters wide, extremely heavy, which suggests it could mount a very high caliber gun. Would probably look very boxy.

Stats:

Weight: 220 tons

Armour: unknown, considering the previous French superheavy projects, it wouldn't be too thick.

Armament: unknown, but a good platform for a big gun, WG could get unhistorical and mount some 150 mm+ gun on it.

Speed: with 1950 HP and 220 tons, it's safe to say that it would have the same speed as the Maus, but a bit more agile considering its dimensions.

Balancing: its armour probably won't be too reliable, inaccurrate derp gun, slow and enormous

Tier 10: STAC 600t

Description: a proposal for a highly armoured tank given in 1920. Nothing else about it is known so far.

Stats:

Weight: 600 tons

Hull: 250/?/? (was probably 250 all-around because of the huge weight)

Turret: read the above

Armament: unknown, but again, perfect for mounting a huge caliber gun

Speed: unknown, most likely abysmal

Balancing: gigantic (arty magnet, prone to hugging), painfully slow, its armour would most likely be flat

So this is it, my tech tree. There are some other tanks could be added or replace some of the mentioned, so I'll probably do a post about that, but for now it would look like this, so let's recap:

FCM 1A

CHAR 2C

FCM 2C Bis

FCM F1

AMX Tracteur C '39

ARL Tracteur C

Char de Forteresse

SEAM 220t

STAC 600t

My opinion on this: this full tech tree would created some new variety in the game with having huge SPH tanks in the low tiers and multi-turreted tanks. High tiers are similar to the Japanese heavies, so if you're a fan of those, I'm sure you'd welcome these. None of these tanks seem OP, unbalanced or game-breaking to me, but on the contrary, underpowered, which would make them meme tanks - something we all like :) Thanks for reading and comment down below if you bother ;)

The key things you’ve not mentioned about your proposed French line are: how fast can they each reverse and how much room is there for storing white flags in each vehicle?

It was game mechanics. The Germans capped and the French tanks were too slow to do anything about it. (And not all French went Vichy. The French Resistance really was a thing, not to mention the 'Free French' forces under De Gaulle).

And the total disaster Dunkirk WOULD have been if they hadn't held the Eric's at bay long enough for us to have brew, read the papers, have a dump and nip for a sail across the channel.

For me, it's all about the memes.

The world would be a dark and barren place if we wouldn't make fun of each others cliches.

Feel free to challenge me to a duel with Baguettes, good sir! ^^

In regards to your proposed super heavy line, i have to say - and that is my personal opinion only - no thanks.

I think we have enough super heavies (and auto loaders) as it is.

Don't get me wrong, i like diversity and the more tanks the better, it's just that super heavies are just another symptome of an already annoying disease.

Of course, WG could riddle them with weak points like with the Mauerbrecher thingy, but WGs track record when it comes to 'balanc(e)ing' an entire line is qustionable at best.

There is a certain comedy that the tier three was added in game as a tier 8 rental back in October :P

That 'french resistance' is a thing just in Hollywood movies, even the french make fun of their 'resistance' in french movies...
