ENSK map for lvl 10 arty

Hi to all,

 

 What you think abut this subject?

I playe a few games with T92HMC on this map and every time i survived just to shoot one time or to reload 1 time. 

My opinion is that this map showld be removed for tier 10 artys.

Sounds like it should increase in the selection and they should make more maps work like that.

Arty gets screwed over by match choice as much as any other tank. For every arty game on Enks or Himmelsdorf, a slow, blind heavy gets into Prokorovka with three clickers or a light tank gets on Stalingrad. Arty is the last one to deserve any special treatment.

Ensk is too small for tier 10 in general, not only arty. You can't cross the railway without being spotted!

Ensk has to be my least liked map, just to small and should not be allowed on high tier game

Perhaps Ensk should go the same way as Widepark - knock it off the rotation above tier VI?

Most urban, small, mountainous and generally congested maps, of which there are mostly tbh, will not suit an SPG and one can expect slim pickings so I wouldn't singly out Ensk which I feel, is actually a pretty ok map for most other classes since it is littered with so many places to sides scrape if your a heavy, peak a boo snap shot of your a medium and for faster tanks it offers lots of cover points, escape points and ambush points so you can never rest on Ensk, there's just always a feeling of walking onto a trap or someone about to pop out from behind a building throughout the battle, in many ways, Ensk is very good, make it bigger and it's actually a fantastic map imo.

As for arty, whenever I got drawn on these type of maps I knew realistically a dead duck so I fell in behind the heavies as a sort of bad TD and just parked up close behind a teammate Type4 or top tier heavy and used him to almost side scrape and pop a shot that may or may not land... didn't care if I got killed either, was better than suiciding and surprisingly effective and helpful when it works, if you DO land a shot, the teammate heavy has free stunned target right in front of him. Arty players need to learn to drive around more on these maps, it ain't for redline bombing although on Ensk, you do get some good lines down and around the tracks if you sit there early on... when that well dries up, move on out.

I also don't want to play Malinovka on heavies when the teams get 3 arties each, or light tanks in Ensk because camo and speed is useless there, and I could go on rumbling on every maps flaws when it comes to certain classes. As any other class doesn't get selective MM, nor should arty get.

It's not the map that should be removed. It's the arties. All of them, regardless of tier.

Arty can skip the city map as soon as they're forced to play literally arty-only matches. That is,if they can't simply remove it. Any takers? :D

Your team will either defend the open side of Ensk or it won't, if it doesnt you need to be on the West side of the map. Its hard to hit much from the West but youll last longer.

Tier 8 Ensk can still be alright and even quite fun. Tier 9 and 10 Ensk is horrid though. And Mines is even worse. Full tier 10 Mines is probably the most soul destroying gameplay therer is.

A price tier-10 has to pay for never being bottom tier. Nothing's free in this universe.

Actually, it's a map that should be limited to tier 5 or 6 at most. The problem is not only about arty but every other class in the game.

Mines and Ensk = maximum tier VIII.
